Perfect reading material on my favorite record label of all time, whilst waiting for plane’s departure. My only complaint is that it’s not hardbound considering the fascinating subject matter. I would want one bound in velvet. Sadly, i never got to apply much of El’s style and philosophy to my own small label. I tried at the start but location, audience sophistication, music industry practice, the lack of artists with same mindset and vision proved to be difficult and hard to sustain.
Happy 19th to that little boy formerly known as The Padster with his ever evolving fashion sense he carries with ease. Not much evident in the pics shown here but this year he’s leaning towards casual 90s football hooligan terrace style, think Sergio Tacchini, crossed with 90s American casual dayglo sleaze. Happy Birthday Paddy! @betelmourning
