Ralph Lauren 2025 Holiday Experience.
Ralph Lauren (
@RalphLauren ) has opened a barn in Seongsu-dong to celebrate the 2025 holiday season. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I got the invitation just as I was replaying Red Dead Redemption 2. It made me imagine that if Arthur had survived his illness and lived a healthy life, maybe he and Mary would have reunited and built a home that looked something like this.
There have been many attempts to bring Western culture into Asia, but most have struggled to cross a certain wall, often due to a lack of authenticity or meaningful storytelling. Sometimes, things that feel too far away or can’t be explained with just words can suddenly make sense when they’re presented through a flawless display that engages all five senses.
Ralph Lauren has always been the master of this direct, immersive approach. Proof that it worked perfectly this time came from seeing so many Korean ranchers and cowboys, a whole community I didn’t even know existed, all coming together naturally in this space.
At this year’s Holiday Experience, visitors can explore the Fall/Winter 2025 collection through the Polo Newspaper, which feels reminiscent of the old paper catalogs once used for pre-order shopping during the era of the American West and the Industrial Revolution.
There’s also special holiday gift wrapping for purchases, a donation tree that encourages the fading but beautiful tradition of giving back, and a wreath-making session that serves as a modern substitute for the classic mistletoe.
True to its name, the Experience is something you live through with your own body. It’s tactile, physical, and human.
I’ve been attending Ralph Lauren’s events every year, and each time I’m amazed by how much power comes from their uncompromising commitment to their vision. It’s as if that stubborn consistency itself carries a kind of quiet, enduring magic.
Thank you
@ralphlauren .
