It was a joy-filled day, getting to spend some time with my kids—brunch and a movie—then getting to take my little motorcycle out for a spin after way too many months. ❤️
What fun to see the @maywoodstudio versions of both the Elemental Coat and the Elemental Kids Coat 😍 The blue one is made with their printed flannel and is just incredibly soft. #elementalcoat @hhamericas
It’s so fun to see friends have their dreams come true—and so beautifully!! @brynmawrquilts has a new collection with @andoverfabrics called Sparrow Falls and it is beautiful indeed! @hhamericas
Road trip - Fiber & Fabric Festival to see not one but 2 Cherrywood Fabric Challenges. The entries get better & better every year. We even took a class - English Paper Piecing. Ran into some of my favorite people too. Lantern Festival at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids MI & Tulip Time 🌷 in Holland MI. #cherrywoodchallenge #lanternfestival #johnballzoo #tuliptimehollandmi
It’s been a few years since I got the chance to talk with Lorelai much, even though we are at the same shows often. Turns out we both love teaching, designing and using Cuddle fabrics in unexpected ways. 😆 @pigs.in.a.blanket.quilting@shannonfabrics@fiberfabriccraftfest
We had so much fun in my quilt coat and patchwork apparel classes at @fiberfabriccraftfest and I finally got the chance to update my blog with more pics 😍
What a fabulous first day at the @fiberfabriccraftfest with everyone. It was really lovely to meet so many folks and get to talk about quilt coats, quilts and making in general. We’ll be back at It tomorrow!
We made it to Chicago for the @fiberfabriccraftfest 🤩 classes start tomorrow and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you can find us in the Crinkle Dreams booth #1536! See you there!
Day three took us across Nebraska with just a bit of drizzle and a lot of wind. We got the chance to stop at The Quilter’s Cottage @quilters.cottage and randomly found one of my patterns! Overall, the buildings took the spotlight, especially once we hit Iowa, but I’m prejudiced because I love Iowa. We stopped in Madison County, so the next obvious move is visiting covered bridges. Then on to Chicago. #roadtrip
