Output Comparisons! Recently we did a comprehensive test and comparison of the performance between TEQ Headlights and other popular offerings on the market, including Baja Designs, Morimoto, Alpharexx and more. Halogens included as a baseline.
Each light was brand new and tested at the same distance with the same power source. All pictures were taken with locked camera settings.
Important note on these tests; First, these readings and photos are only relevant when compared to eachother. Things like ambient light, distance, age of the light, and power source can affect Lux readings. Camera settings and environment greatly affect how light output appears in photos.
Finally, this is not a question of “can you see?” Everyone’s eyes work differently. If you’re happy with your headlights, great! This is intended to a resource to help determine the level of performance you’re getting from the money you’re spending.
