Heat Sink and Carcass are two experimental projects I completed last year. They will be screening alongside Earth to Sky and Flush on May 30th.
I think they work great as a the two sides of the same coin, and will open the screening ahead of the other films.
One is shot on a thermal camera, the other on a vintage camcorder. Both are about our relationship to the digital.

Screening on November 9 at the @kinoshortfilm open mic, CARCASS explores the fading of magic and myth in the face of cameras during the summer solstice celebration at Stonehenge. A new eternity has replaced an old one.

Heat Sink (2025) is a short film shot using thermal imaging. Looking at London’s landscape through a new lens, Heat Sink explores our increased reliance on algorithms and other technologies that dictate human interactions.
