More than 130 years ago, the iconic @natgeo was founded by 33 individuals who saw an urgent need to deepen humanity’s understanding of our world around us. Today, we’re incredibly proud that our founder, @hamdi.ulukaya , has been recognized by @natgeo as an inaugural member of the “National Geographic 33” – an homage to its founders – which celebrates 33 changemaker’s whose imaginative ideas and unstoppable drive are making the world a better place. 🌍💯🙌⁣ ⁣ Recognized for his efforts through @tentorg to connect refugees with jobs, Hamdi took his own positive experience hiring refugees at @chobani and has inspired a global movement. Across the Americas and Europe Tent has already galvanized 400+ major businesses to help refugees integrate into their local labor markets at scale – through hiring, training, and mentoring – and we’re not stopping there! 💪⁣ ⁣ Check out Hamdi’s #natgeo33 feature at the 🔗in bio, and reach out to join our movement!

In 2016, Tent Partnership for Refugees was founded on a simple belief: that a job can change everything for a refugee rebuilding their life. Today, 500+ major businesses are a part of our mission – helping refugees get jobs and restart their lives while strengthening their own workforces. As we kick off Tent’s next decade, we’re doubling down on our commitment to make refugee hiring easier, faster, and more impactful. That’s why today we’re excited to launch our completely reimagined Members’ Hub: the most comprehensive collection of resources of its kind, with 200+ practical tools, HR trainings, guides, research, and best practices that Tent has developed over the years to help companies hire, integrate, and support refugee talent. #LaborDay is a celebration of work, but for millions of refugees and migrants, getting there isn’t easy. Language gaps. Unfamiliar hiring processes. Unrecognized credentials. That’s exactly what we are working to change across the Americas and Europe. Here’s a snapshot from recent months: 🇨🇴 In #Colombia, our team joined the Migration and Development Forum in Cali alongside the Cancillería de Colombia, the Ministerio del Trabajo Colombia and major companies, where we discussed key labor needs in the Valle del Cauca region and confirmed what we see across all our markets: refugee and migrant talent adds real, long-term business value. 🇪🇸 In Spain, #TentEspaña hosted hiring enablement professionals from more than a dozen refugee-facing organizations for our first-ever partner workshop – mapping barriers, aligning on processes, and building clearer pathways to employment for refugees and asylum seekers. 🇸🇪 Nearly 400 refugee jobseekers and 30+ employers participated in #TentSverige’s job fair with Connecting Jobs Sweden and Beredskapslyftet. The day featured remarks from Sweden’s Labour Market Minister, who underscored the need to bridge the gap between refugee talent and employers.  🇵🇱 In #Poland, we organized a job fair – in partnership with Marriott International – that brought together 300+ refugees and migrants and 13 employers to foster real connections and build awareness around potential job opportunities for attendees. 🇬🇧 And TentUK joined the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the LCR Race Equality Hub for an event at the Liverpool Football Club that saw 200+ refugee jobseekers meet with employers in hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare to learn about open roles in those sectors, among others! On this Labor Day, we celebrate the workers who bring skill, resilience, and dedication, and the employers who recognize it. HireRefugees 🚀

We are getting the right people in the right room in Spain. 🇪🇸 Yesterday in Barcelona, 23 hiring enablement professionals from more than a dozen refugee-facing organizations in the #TentEspaña network joined us for our first-ever partner workshop. The passion in the room and the commitment of these individuals to help refugees into work were unmatched! Together, we explored barriers that can slow down collaboration – from candidate profiling and timing to communication, expectation management, and follow-up. We also mapped the full journey from vacancy to hire to better understand how to be more effective to ensure the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in Spain. Muchísimas gracias to all who joined us – we can’t wait to continue our work together to create clearer pathways to employment for refugees and migrants in Spain! #HireRefugees

We were proud to partner once again with the Paris Chamber of Commerce for a refugee job fair that keeps growing in impact – a busy day filled with connections, conversations, and opportunities right in the heart of the city! 🤝 #TentFrance 🇫🇷 brought together 20 companies, including Hyatt; L’Oreal; McDonald’s; Uniqlo, and Schneider Electric. Alongside our NGO and institutional partners, we successfully connected around 700 refugee candidates with employers to learn about the dozens of different types of roles they were hiring for that were tailored to their diverse skills and career goals. Merci to all the partners who helped make this a meaningful day of connection and opportunity for these highly motivated, resilient job seekers! #HireRefugees

Tent is proud to announce a new formal partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing the socioeconomic integration of refugees and migrants in #Colombia. 🇨🇴 Through a Memorandum of Understanding signed today between Tent and Mayor @carlosfernandogalan , we will work together with the @alcaldiabogota to create pathways towards economic inclusion and self-sufficiency for displaced populations in the capital. 🤝 For the hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan refugees and migrants seeking safety and opportunity in Bogotá – home to the largest migrant community in the country – a job is the most effective path to dignity and long-term economic stability. We’re excited to embark on this new strategic alliance with the Mayor’s Office and are committed to mobilizing our growing network of member companies nationwide to connect refugee and migrant talent with employment opportunities in the capital.

Creating opportunities for peer learning and spaces where companies can exchange challenges, insights, and best practices is just one of the many ways #TentFrance supports its members in integrating refugees into the French labour market. 🤝 At our recent gathering in Paris, illustrator Anna Lentzner captured key insights shared by coalition members – alongside reflections on Tent’s latest best-practice resource – on what it takes to successfully welcome refugee employees. From building inclusive work environments to helping employees navigate administrative hurdles, implementing buddy systems, and offering language support – the illustration highlights what employers should keep top of mind when welcoming refugee talent. 🩵

This weekend was #InternationalWomensDay, a day to recognize the immense contributions women – including refugee women – make to our workplaces and communities, despite the barriers many still face. Krystyna’s story reflects what can happen when resilience meets meaningful support. A creative professional in Ukraine for over a decade, Krystyna arrived in Paris determined to start again. Through our mentorship program, she connected with a mentor from a #TentFrance member company, @dlapiper , who championed her career journey and shared concrete guidance on topics like the local job market, CV writing, and interview tactics. Notably, Krystyna’s mentor also helped her to build a professional network in France – which led to an opportunity at another Tent France member company, @schneiderelectric ! As we mark International Women’s Day, we’re reminded that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We’re proud of the 100+ companies in Europe that have stepped up and mentored refugee women through Tent’s programs over the years – creating opportunities and mobilizing their employees to provide professional guidance and hands-on support as their mentees navigate barriers to employment and restart or grow in their careers.

As we prepare to commemorate #internationalwomensday this Sunday, we’re proud to first recognize one of our own. This week, Tent’s Vice President of Global Communications & Marketing, Haiwen Lu Langworth, was celebrated at @ragan_comms Top Women in Communications Awards luncheon as a Class of 2026 honoree in the Social Impact Leaders category. As we honor the contributions and potential of women everywhere, we also recognize the strength and talent of refugee women who are rebuilding their lives in new communities. Today, and every day, we’re grateful for Haiwen’s leadership and her dedication to advancing Tent’s mission of refugee inclusion around the world. Congratulations, Haiwen! 🎉
