Tensing Pen hotel, west end Negril, is known as the “dog resort”, or more specifically the “Rhodesian Ridgeback resort”. Tensing -the father, 8 y.o.- came from a long line of champions from Edenridge, and his pups Obi and Zuri - 6 y.o.- were born at the hotel Valentine’s Day 2020. Our three resident Rhodesians greet guests, walk with them, stay on their porches and verandas, and generally fall in love with one set of guests after the other. They’ll accompany you for the rest of your stay, going with you to your massage, your swim time, your hammock time and beyond. Hotel guests tell us they feel their blood pressure drop when these beautiful animals are around. They feel a deep sense of peace, and release. The Staff come to think of them as part of the family, and care for them daily.
