Sometimes I lack the vision for pieces that, in the moment, only ever feel like drafts to me. But I know it is very important that I keep them close, so that they eventually find their way home.

For Jem (part 1)
These pieces were found tucked away in some older pages of flash, and then tattooed at my grandmotherโs apartment.
She was very curious and came to inspect the process at various stages.
The moment was incredibly nostalgic, my first trip back home was essentially this set up.
Suddenly the notions of home intersect, and the act becomes collective. Although she isnโt the biggest fan of my bodywork, she most definitely enjoys being around the creativity, and witnessing a moment of trust and connection.
