Happy Mother’s Day to Kimberly, the most unceasingly supportive and loving mother to ever exist on the planet. You raised beautiful children who have beautiful families and successful careers, and you should be proud of all of the good you brought and continue to bring into this world! We love you Mama! ♥️♥️♥️ As an aside, we all know Mother’s Day doesn’t come with a feeling of joy for some. This photo is the last photo my mother, Kim and Zach’s mother, Laurie, will ever take together. Today, we celebrate both, one on this Earthly plane and one in Heaven. We miss you every day, Laurie. 💜 For some, today will be warm and full. Phone calls, flowers, laughter, arms wrapped tight. For others, it’s going to be quiet. A name you wish you could say to them one more time. A seat that should be filled at your table. A love that didn’t end, and a life that did. Today, please hold space for the ones who are missing. The ones who are grieving. The ones navigating this day with a lump in their throat. The moms who have lost children and the children who have lost moms. If today feels beautiful, lean into it. If it feels heavy, you don’t have to pretend otherwise. Love doesn’t disappear, it changes shape. And right now that shape might be undefined. Thinking of everyone carrying both love and loss this Mother’s Day 💜

A week ago today, the team at Return Home had a huge first; we attended a world premier of a film! We all traveled to Austin, Texas to attend SXSW, a music, film, and arts festival, where are the documentary we were featured in had three showings. We were able to attend two of the three where we did photo shoots, interviews, and Q&A’s. It was definitely another worldly experience! Some of us even saw a few real celebrities, it was pretty cool! I’m just now catching up from all of the sleep I lost but let me tell you, I would do it all over again! Our team agrees that it was one of our best trips ever, and I’m just so grateful to have such wonderful people supporting and surrounding me! If you were one of the people aware of this and wished me luck and sent love, thank you so much! Know how much I appreciate you for keeping us in your heart as we go through these amazing, overwhelming, life-changing moments! I also wanna say thank you so much to the staff and crew who helped make the weekend so special! Thank you to JJ, Clem, Ann, Melanie, Lee, Diane, Rocky, Mikayla, Kyle, Andrew, Paddy, Will, Micah, Mark, John Paul, Chris, Jake, and so many others who made the film and the weekend so very special. Thank you thank you! Thank you Fishbowl Films, Movement Content, and Humble Heart Films. And special shoutout to Jennifer for making a trip to see the film and interview us after. You have no idea how much it means to us that someone from the industry would be open-minded to seeing and sharing the film. 🖤🖤🖤 OK. I think I’m done, at least for now! If you’ve come this far, hopefully you enjoy the massive photo dump I left as well. I post these things so I can remember all of these amazing adventures we go on! Thank you for being along for the ride. 🥰 #thelifeweleave #sxsw2026 #adventures

Well, now that life has settled down a tiny bit, I thought I’d post about TerraCon! Untimely but needed! This year I felt so much love, support, and excitement surrounding new methods of disposition. Absolute ACES were in attendance, and I’m extremely grateful for everyone who participated 💚🌱 Return Home was not the originator of human composting. We are, however, a large part of why it has gone global, and largely due to TerraCon. I have friends all over the world using the word terramation to give hope for new life to the families in their areas. They are starting firms across the globe that will bring goodness to this world! This is bigger than any one of us; it is now officially a global movement. I am so humbled and will continue to transparently share this service with anyone who will listen. Today, Washington. Tomorrow, the World 💚🌎💚 *sorry for all the selfies. I just don’t wanna forget anything!*
