This year's Vacation Bible School, Illumination Station, will be June 1-5 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.
Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12

On Sunday evening, May 17, we plan to have our annual Church-Wide Picnic at Lincoln Parish Park, Pavilion L-6. We will have Hotdogs and Polish Sausages at the same pricing as Wednesday Night Meals: $5/person, $3/child under 8, $15 max/family)! Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and come fellowship with others in the outdoors!
Bring Desserts to share such as homemade ice cream or cookies, whatever your sweet tooth desires!
As you enter the park you can let the gatekeeper know you are there with Temple; however, Lincoln Parish Park Family Passes will help us keep our costs down.
We love our Life Groups! Everyone needs a group of people who will pray for one another and study God's Word together! Get plugged into a group if you are not already!

We love our volunteers! Temple Baptist Church could not run without the faithful men, women, and youth who serve in so many areas every single week! The Lord has blessed us GREATLY!
Jesus is worth our EVERYTHING! Tomorrow morning we celebrate our 74 college students being sent out for the summer to serve the Lord through local, national, and international missions, summer camps and serving as a missionary in their workplace/internship!
Come back tomorrow evening to celebrate our High School Seniors and all that God has planned for their next stage of life! Our recognition service will be at 5:00 p.m. in The Gathering Space.
