To cap it all off I was able to land my personal best yellow-edge grouper which I have to say is probably my favorite fish to eat of all time. #fishing

Crazy top water bite on artificial lures!! Casting @templereef poppers & @nolivebaitneeded 4oz head straight tails with tuna coming over the rail left & right. It was nonstop action on the black fins as soon as the sun started its descent.

Donât sleep on the light rod. It really doesnât take too much to catch a few fish and fill the cooler. A pack of crappie jigs, some 30lb leader and youâre in business!
Iâve been really enjoying the @templereef Vortex power one. Itâs prime for crappie jigs, small shrimp lures, pompano jigs, or throwing small live bait. Definitely worth checking out if youâre in the market for a light stick #fishing

Life changing blow ups. When @billy_hayess invited me to go bluefin fishing with the boys I thought I was ready. I wasnât đ . These fish go nuclear on big lures, sometimes completely airing out of the water. The first time I saw a 400lb Bluefin jumping towards the boat I knew I was hooked for life.
As the commercial sized fish were closed on our trip we were only allowed to keep one recreational sized fish per day. Thatâs a fish under 73â. So when I landed this 72â fish I was insanely stoked. To top it off it was the first bluefin tuna Iâve ever landed.
Over two days we caught tons of giant bluefin, captured some incredible video footage, broke some expensive gear, and laughed our asses off. I canât thank @bluerunnersportfishing enough for running such a great operation. You all are going to GEEK when these YT videos come out.
