Shabbat is here! With a double header I’d Shabbat Jr. (for our 0-7 crowd and their adults) at 5:00pm and Friday Night Shabbat Services at 6:00pm, we are celebrating Israel with community (and yummy cookies by @chantellelabowe 🇮🇱)
On this Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day - we remember those who were murdered and honor our survivors. This morning, our very own Cantor @elisawaltzman ’s bubbie, Yetta Kane was honored by the California State Assembly for her heroic survival and whose life story is a reminder of why we say #neveragain
