#FlashbackFriday: On 6 February 2026, in recognition of World Cancer Day and as proud supporters, TEMPLARS delegates joined Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre & Specialist Hospital for its annual Walk Against Cancer, an initiative focused on awareness, early detection, and sustained advocacy in the fight against cancer. The walk brought together healthcare professionals, survivors, and advocates in a shared commitment to improving access to quality cancer care and strengthening public understanding of prevention and early diagnosis. As Nigeria’s first comprehensive cancer treatment facility, the Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre continues to deliver accessible, world-class cancer care while advancing education, screening, and research. #FlashbackFriday: On 6 December 2025, TEMPLARS joined the global movement for the 7th Annual Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) No Tolerance March, held simultaneously across 18 cities worldwide, reaffirming our commitment to ending rape, sexual violence, and all forms of gender-based violence. As a long-standing partner and supporter of WARIF, our team marched in solidarity with survivors and advocates across Lagos and other global locations, lending our voice to the collective call for a society free from violence and exploitation. The March continues to spotlight the urgent need for safe, equitable communities founded on protection, justice, and empowerment for women and girls. WARIF is a non-profit organisation established in response to the high incidence of sexual assault, rape, and human trafficking affecting young girls and women across Nigeria.
