Originally planned as our 10th anniversary compilation, and now landing in our 13th year, it’s fair to say this album is being released a little later than originally expected. HOWEVER good things come to those that wait and worth the wait this compilation certainly is!!!
Still Rooted isn’t just a compilation, it’s a celebration of the sound, the culture, and the people who keep it alive.
An all-star cast of Foundation family and friends plus a few new additions making their label debut (Cessman, Sedan and WZ) come together to celebrate the true sound of dubstep. Music written with love, intention and respect for the culture, created for sound systems, not trends and firmly rooted in the foundations of the sound.
Having met the majority of artists on this compilation in person and having stayed connected over the years with those I haven't, I can say with confidence that everyone involved is not only an incredible producer but stayed true to their craft over the years with integrity, passion and love. These are people who genuinely care about music, the culture and the energy it carries.
The compilation has been a true labour of love from carefully curating the tracklist over several years to the in-house mastering courtesy of Temperance Mastering. Every detail has been handled with care resulting in a release that reflects the heart of Foundation Audio.
Bringing the concept together is the striking artwork by Bristol graffiti artist Conrico Steez whose design perfectly captures the spirit of the compilation - sound system music rooted in the foundations of the sound, created with respect for where it comes from.

'PEACE LOVE UNITY' evolves from start to finish with it's meditative bassline, hypnotic guitar melodies, dubbed out percussion and positive vocal mantras working harmoniously together to create a dubstep track of epic proportions.
Flip side 'AGAINST ALL EVIL' carries on the conscious vibrations with it's immensely weighty bassline, dubbed out harmonica skanks and infectious vocal hook.
FAVX017 is a true representation of what dubstep is all about. Deep basslines and positive vibrations cut to record to resonate through Sound Systems across the world.
