TEMÍỌ́TỌ́PẸ́: The Lawyer
These pictures speak of family, of legacy, of promise, of Grace.
From the one true God who is always with me and who particularly open my eyes to His Word in 2Timothy 1:7 when I was in such a distressing time.
To my Grandfather: who dreamt that I’d study law or medicine, who once offered to send me to school abroad just for this cause 😅
To my Earthly father: whose hands have held mine through storms and triumphs, who has been after this degree even more than me 😂.
To my Mother: Oh my dear mother 🥲
My heart overflows with Christ’s love for you.
I rejoice that you’re with God,bathed in light, whole and radiant.
To my Uncle: you never asked me to follow your legal path
but in watching you live it,
something in me stirred. Now, I Dey warn you never try am again! 😂😂😂
For real, though I thought it was admiration,it was purpose.
God’s way of calling me, wrapped in quiet inspiration.
To my brother, whose laughter, fight, bond and ginger steadily inspires me!
To my little sisters:
You are light and wonder to me.
I pray my journey reminds you that God’s plan is beautiful,
and that you too can rise; with Grace, Love, courage and faith.
To my dear friends who prayed, showed up, stood by,
I love you.
You know yourselves cause you were given to me by God; The Father.
This call is not mine alone cause really you people have threatened me 😂😂. It truly is OURS.

About a month ago, after I had the nudge to apply for the welcome speech address, I eventually got the privilege of welcoming new students to the Institute of Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and it is truly something I’ve found myself reflecting on since.
It made me pause in reflection and Gratitude to God as I put into words what these past nine months have really been for me. Not just learning skills, but growing, adjusting and understanding more about who I am and who I am becoming.
I’m truly grateful to the management of Le Cordon Bleu @lecordonbleuparis for trusting me with that moment and giving me the space to share.
Looking ahead, I’m expectant for what’s to come.
Tẹ́míọ́tọ́pẹ́.

Today, I remember, I honour, and I give thanks.
Nine years ago, I said goodbye to my mummy, Late Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adegbite (née Makindipe) yet what she carried has never left us because what is of God does not end.
In June, just before I came to Paris, on the last day of a fast, I received what I can only describe as a gentle conviction ; a clear, quiet, undeniable nudge
… A Christian dining experience.
I paused cause I was so confused 😄I questioned. I wondered how such a thing would even exist.
Knowing God, I knew it wasn’t mine to fully understand, it was just mine to obey.
And then came the name: Olufunmilayo.
I laughed. I paused again saying
Father… this is mummy’s name now 😄😄
However, it did come with peace. It came with clarity.I understood it was not coincidence, this was continuation of God’s Word through her
My mummy’s life really carried joy. A life that reflected God’s light so brightly that even now, it still leads.
So Olufunlayo was born 🥰; a space where people gather to dine with Christ, to share His Word, to experience His joy, and to become that same light in the world.
What started as a whisper has become a table.
What began in obedience continues in purpose ( My prayer is that I keep abiding in Him)
Today, we remember that this platform exists because God first placed His light in my mummy and through her, showed me what it means to live in joy.
So I honour her.
I celebrate her.
I carry her.
For nothing dies in the hands of God.
This is OLÚFUNLÁYÒ and through us, her joy lives on.
Thank you Jesus !
Throwing it back to such a powerful day of service, faith, and deep commitment to God’s Word.
There’s a special kind of beauty and growth that happens when we come together in unity and love 🤍

WHAT A MONTH
In March, I was quite fatigued navigating so many emotions at once. Yet, in the midst of it all, God assured me that He would bring a pleasant surprise.
Still, I cannot ignore the ache of what is happening around the world, and especially in my dear country, Nigeria. My heart is heavy. I feel disheartened. And at times, I even feel like a hypocrite for choosing to post something light or to experience joy while others are facing such brutality.
But without any façade, I always go before God in prayer asking for what I must do, as I remain committed to representing Him with honour in every way I can, and contributing positively to the growth and development of my community, my country or the world at large; a step or a million at time.
God being my help.
March carried both high notes!! and deeply sorrowful ones. Yet, in all of it, I am grateful. I am reminded that even when I do not understand, I must remain firm in my belief that God’s love for me transcends whatever I face.
I may not have all the words or the perfect encouragement to give, but I am certain of this: the One who sits in heaven has good plans even when it doesn’t look like it, even when we cannot comprehend it.
My confidence is in Him; in the details, both small and great.
Thank You, Lord, for the month of March.
God sent His Word to me saying;
Tope, Nothing can separate you from My love 🤍
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Tope is truly grateful.
Thank you Lord.
It’s the little things.
Pure as having a group of people who are warm in such a cold world.
As a chef, I’m always intentional about what I bring into a space.
This Lunar New Year celebration was an opportunity to share a glimpse into the diversity of Nigerian cuisine beyond what people often expect or assume.
I chose dishes that tell a story:
• Banga & Boli : bold, smoky, and deeply rooted flavours from the South-South. People often mistake banga for mafé, but each has its own identity and foundation.
You guysss, plantain wins yet again🙂↕️
• Butterfly Prawns dashed in palm Oil, this was an emphatic nod to coastal cooking and the richness of palm fruit in our cuisine & y’all, I was this close to making efo riro 🤭 to emphasise on the diversity of palm fruit
• Snacks from @abebi_onipanu : they celebrate texture, nostalgia, and the beauty of Nigerian “chop mouth”culture. It was so good for real !
Also s/o @needsartsupplies for that banging CHIN CHIN
Honestly, Food is language. Food is memory and I am glad to have introduced a tiny bit of the Nigerian cuisine
Thank you @seonkyounglongest for inviting us to celebrate the Lunar New Year 🧧 grateful for moments where cultures meet. I mean, I ate a lot of delicious food!!!!
I had also planned to bring ikpekere and garri with nuts to share but I was concerned that our bellies might not have enough space to handle it all 😂😩.
Amazing memories captured by @valeria___gh

OLÚFUNLÁYÒ is a Christ-centered seasonal dining experience, a space where believers gather around the table, sharing a meal, touching on the realities of life, and engaging in meaningful conversations, all with God’s Word as our guide and Christ at the very centre of it all.
Last week in Paris (Edition 2), I stood in awe of what God continues to grow through this vision. What began as a simple yes has become a gathering of hearts, stories, and testimonies around one table.
I am deeply grateful not only for the beauty of the evening, but for the lessons, the stretching, and the gentle reminders that there is always room to keep improving, keep going, and keep sharing the Gospel.
Thank You, Lord, for the Grace to create, to serve, and to steward this vision. Thank You for every guest, every helping hand, and every moment that reflected Your presence my Father. Eternally Grateful to You ABBA
We keep growing. We keep refining. We keep showing up for His Glory by His Mercies.
I have confidence in You, Dear Lord. Yes, I do.
See : Psalm 139:1-18
With Gratitude,
Tẹ́míọ́tọ́pẹ́ for @cheftemms.szn & @olu.funlayo
The enemy shall not exact upon me nor shall the son of wickedness afflict me and this is because
My God of mercy shall come to meet me and
He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies.
Psalm 89:22 & 59:10 🙂↕️
