In the early hours of yesterday, I led a delegation of Vibrant Youth leaders, Members of the Ecowas Youth Council and other stakeholders on a courtesy visit to the former President of Nigeria - Matthew Okikiola Aremu Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) and his beautiful wife Mrs Oluremi Obasanjo to pay them a courtesy visit at their country home, the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Abeokuta, Ogun state (Penthouse). - The visit was to give His Excellency updates on a series of projects I had embarked on through The TemiOKORO CREATIVE FORUM, WEST AFRICA and the many CSR @reasone_innovations currently does, baba was impressed and gave the Father's blessing to me. - His Excellency gave updates on state matters and gave reasons why the Youth must actively get involved in POLITICS at such a time as this in our beloved Nation. President Obasanjo said the older generation should concern itself with providing guidance and knowledge to younger national leaders than being in a competitive race with them to make Nigeria better. He emphasized that old age comes with a wealth of experience and a reservoir of knowledge that can be tapped into by the younger energetic leaders. - While I assured Baba as well that the involvement of Young Adults in active politics would bring about great National Development. We are ready to use our IT, technology skills and lot more to work with our fathers to move our Nation forward across boards. Regardless of the challenges we face, the Light of our Nation shall shine, and it must shine brightly beyond partisan politics! Took some time off work today to sit with one of the men God divinely positioned in my journey — Mr. Wisdom Ezekiel (@wisdomezekiel )This man believed in me at a time when only a few voices did. As an undergraduate, I shared a vision with him that I felt could thrive on campus. He didn’t just encourage me — he traveled all the way from Lagos to Ile-Ife to invest, support, and stand with me. Looking back now, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how far God has brought me, and for the destiny helpers He planted along the way.
