Don’t get discouraged if you have baby hands, this is based on my hand. Tattoos without color can usually be finished quicker. Location on the body can also affect the price - some areas are more difficult and time-consuming to tattoo, but I’m happy to do all of them!

I am excited to announce that the new studio will be officially opening AUGUST 27TH!!!
My sincerest gratitude to everyone who has endured our uncertainty of when we will be able to move - there were a lot of moving parts, factors beyond our control, and countless unexpected problems we ran into a along the way, each solution costing a bajillion dollars. But as Ernest Hemingway once said, “sometimes you make plans, and then the universe farts on your balls”

Starting from now, @knzw_horihiro will be working at the new location (address is in the @blkoceantattoo insta bio)
I will be holding it down at the old location (near Camp Foster) until the official move on August 27th. So if you have an appointment with Hiro, it’s gonna be at the Gate 2 studio. If you have an appointment with me BEFORE AUGUST 27TH it will be at the old studio, near Camp Foster.
Thank you for your understanding, and thank you to everyone who has voiced their support along the way. We look forward to tattooing lots of walk ins at the new place, which looks fucking sick in my opinion.
Okay for real tho is anyone else experiencing issues with attaching a song to their Instagram posts?? It seems like I’m the only person on earth with this problem. It only allows me to choose from the weirdest, most obscure and unpleasant catalog of not-music. As a huge fan of Johnny Cash I have a decent amount of his records, but Apollo had the one and only “Live at Folsom Prison” album I couldn’t find anywhere. I offered to trade him a tattoo for the record and he kindly threw in a few others for me. Lined the whole thing with a machine I built myself. Ran like a dream.

A while back I was gifted two incredibly rad flash sheets by my friend @showtattoo , which are framed and hung up on the wall among all the other legends. When buddy came in and picked Shōta’s dragon design off the wall I was STOKED AS HECK but also felt like I had big shoes to fill, because it was a design originally made by a friend I deeply respect, and have gotten two tattoos from. I redrew and changed the design and had a lot of fun tattooing it.
If you want to see some more legendary designs, stop by the studio and gaze upon the walls of our sacred temple of scab wizardry. Or just show us the Pinterest design you’ve had save on your phone for three months, and we’ll make it cooler. We have plenty of room for walk ins, and and right now we have guest artists who can crush it in any style.
Aside from that, the musical options I am allowed to choose from are very limited, if anyone can tell me how to fix that when I am not up to my gills in pre workout (it’s chest day today) I will literally suck your toes, platonically.

Me and Thomas are both long time fans of Alice in Chains (I have three of their records on vinyl, no big deal). Last slide is the design that Layne Stayley had tattooed on his shoulder, so we wanted to do a tribute tat to the legend, but I also wanted to church it up a bit so I made some changes to the design. I hope @aliceinchains would approve.
