5 lessons I’ve learned in business as a Christian 🤍
1. Faith is key
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in business is to walk by faith and not by sight. I may not always have all the answers, but I trust that God has called me to this and I choose obedience anyway. 2 Corinthians 5:7
2. God needs you to move in business
Faith requires action. James 2 reminded me that faith isn’t just something we speak about, it has to be lived out through obedience, consistency, and work. “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26
3. You don’t need to be the ultimate boss babe
I’ve learned that I cannot do business alone. I constantly go back to God for wisdom, strategy, and direction. In difficult seasons, I hold onto His promises instead of pressure. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
4. Faith in business may make you look crazy
Sometimes the decisions God leads you to make won’t make sense to everyone else. Logic may say walk away, but faith says remain obedient and steadfast. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5–6
5. He’s equipped me
I truly believe the vision, creativity, skills, and desire to build this venture came from God. I’m simply stewarding what He placed in me. “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.” Psalm 139:16
I hope these lessons encourage anyone trying to navigate business while remaining faithful to God.

What does authenticity look like to me?
It’s the version of you that doesn’t shift for the room or the people around you.
My advice: stay true to who you are, even when it’s easier to blend in 🤍

I don’t usually talk about relationships on here… but this has been on my heart since my connect group.
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5
It made me realise that real love starts with a mindset, one shaped like Christ. Jesus put God first and others before Himself.
A Christ-like relationship asks:
Am I helping this person grow closer to God?
Am I considering their wellbeing, not just my own?
If my mind is only focused on me, my needs, my feelings, my happiness, then I’m not ready to truly love, only to use.
Secondly, love isn’t just what we say, it’s what we show.
Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not dishonour others.
You can’t claim to love someone while consistently hurting them or leading them away from God.

On The Rack Series: Men’s Selah Set
We made the linen set for summer due to the lightweight material.
Perfect for the holiday season, with the special hand-beaded element. Also… this set is Tele’s mum’s favourite; so that already says a lot.

Tele + Elado on the romantic streets of Florence — now featured in Vanity Fair UK.
Still feels a little surreal to have been approached for their Spring 2026 advertorial and to see this story included. Just off the Ponte Vecchio at blue hour, the city glowing around us, and a kind of quiet elegance that didn’t need direction — just space to unfold

Selah.
A Hebrew word meaning pause.
Lately, it has been teaching me more than I expected.
I stepped into politics at 22, and for a long time that role shaped how I saw myself. My identity became tied to achievement, to titles, to being “someone” in the world.
In 2022, when I left public office and moved to London, I had to confront something I hadn’t fully acknowledged before. Without all of it, I felt like I was nobody. That truth was uncomfortable. I didn’t know how to sit with it.
But it was in that pause — in that Selah — that something in me shifted. I started to see I was becoming someone I didn’t yet recognise, but was meant to become. If I’m honest, I resisted it for a long time. I made that season harder than it needed to be. I complained, I replayed conversations, I romanticised the past, and I held tightly to what felt familiar because it felt safe.
But I’m learning this slowly: I am not here to cling to old versions of myself. And looking back too long can make you miss what’s right in front of you.
As the Word says:“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…” — Ecclesiastes 3.
So whatever season you are in, pause long enough to understand it has purpose.

On the Rack Series: Boha Spotlight
Tele & Elado share their love story — from the restaurant where they met to their very first date.
This linen set, finished with coral clasps, was inspired by that moment a piece rooted in memory, connection, and something quietly enduring.
Tele picked the linen material due to her love of the material mentioned in the bible. For her it is for soft living and slow days; where ease, intention, and feeling good in what you wear take centre stage.

I used to put so much pressure on myself to do as many of the spiritual disciplines as I could.
If any slipped, I’d feel as though I was failing. It didn’t help when I would see others on social media talking about their daily habits.
But, things changed when I realised two things: everything has its season, and God’s grace is sufficient.
Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that everything has its season; there’s a time for everything. It made me realise there would be times I would be great at praying or reading my Bible, and other times when fasting would be front and centre.
I didn’t need to be on top of all of them at the same time.
Likewise, in 2 Corinthians 12:9, God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
It took the pressure off.
Now, when I practise my spiritual disciplines, I am at liberty to enjoy them and watch my relationships grow - not just with God but with those in my church community too.
What have been your experiences with spiritual disciplines?

Easter Saturday is the day when the sacrifice of Jesus feels especially real. It’s the quiet in-between, the day after loss, before resurrection.
To know that a King loved me so deeply (a sinner) that He chose to die for me… even before I knew Him. That is the truest expression of love: sacrifice.
It makes me pause and reflect on my own life, my actions, my mindset and my behaviours. Am I willing to love others the way Jesus did? Or do I only seek my own happiness and needs? Often.. it is the case and I truly dislike this side.
I always make a prayer during Easter along these lines:
Lord, I have not always shown love to my brothers and sisters, and I ask for your forgiveness.
Please give me the opportunity and the heart to show deep love and kindness to others, not for selfish reason or hidden motives, but simply because I desire to honour your sacrifice and carry love in my life.
Amen.
