I was hunting around in the bushes after losing my ring. Snapped this picture just to mark the spot. Thought nothing of it until I looked back later and saw that figure. At the time I only remember a strange quiet settling in, like the whole forest was holding its breath. My finger has been burning a little ever since. I am certain it is the same ring.

Honestly can’t believe this – just caught three bears fly tipping again in Hainault Forest. 😡 This time, they dumped two old washing machines and a load of rubbish. Like, seriously? Of all the places to do this, they pick the forest? Had to chase them off (again!) but I’m not sure if it’s the same ones I’ve caught before or a new group. Either way, it’s getting ridiculous. Was helping one of me neighbours with a bit of digging in their garden, and we found this weird rock thing buried under the ground. Didn’t think much of it at first, but then Danny’s watch stopped working the moment we pulled it out. 🤨 I made the mistake of touching it without gloves, and it burned my hands pretty bad! 😬 Bit of Savlon sorted me out though. Caught this big guy today while out fishing with Sam! We had no idea what kind of fish it was, but it was massive and put up a good fight.
