Japanese calligraphy workshop.
An introduction to Japanese calligraphy with Shodō master Oskar Daitō Hellström.
I will host 2 workshops next week at Teetao and Teemaa. Registration is open!
In this workshop we cover the basic rules of Shodō, or japanese calligraphy. We go over the techniques for writing all the basic strokes, and apply what we have learned to write complete chinese characters. In this workshop the guests can experience the beauty and joy of japanese calligraphy. Anyone can attend this workshop, regardless of skill level or previous knowledge.
