My sister's a complete history and Latin nerd so Pompeii was the best holiday spot for her to visit and for us to go along with her. As someone who's the complete opposite, I enjoyed myself out there. Her imagination was running wild combining what she’d learnt with what we were seeing - it was sort of like having our own excited personal little guide. Also I must add I wasn't mad at authentic Neapolitan pizza 🍕👅

Porto was my first solo trip and my confirmation that I love traveling more than anything. Although very last minute, I can say it was honestly so worth it, considering I needed a break and wanted to get out of the funk I was in.
I fully back solo trips now and would recommend you go on one at least once, it does wonders for your mind ❤️❤️❤️
