For its summer issue, GQ Middle East travels across North Africa to celebrate the region’s most daring creatives. The first stop: Egypt. Meet the cover stars: @riskyboyss_ What does it mean to create from the margins? For Ahmed Attef and Mohamed Tarek, it begins in El Matareya where they experiment with how fashion looks and functions. From a butcher shop runway to a show at a Ramadan football tournament, the Risky Boys are having their fun while being very serious about the fashion landscape. “Everyone has their own way of dressing now. But Egypt used to be advanced in fashion. The youth just don’t know it anymore,” says Tarek. With no formal training and no external backing, they’re building something loud and unmistakably local. No playbook; just pure instinct. Hit the link in bio to read the full story by @rundoozz . From the streets of Egypt, where every frame tells a story and every moment holds real energy. This is more than visuals — it’s culture, movement, and a raw reflection of the streets. Colors, people, chaos, and details all coming together in one vision. Every shot carries Egypt. Every scene speaks for itself. On October 6th , RISKY BOYS redefined celebration — not with flags and parades, but through fashion as a language of identity. For RISKY BOYS , fashion is not about clothes; it’s a way to express the rhythm, pride, and complexity of Egypt itself. Inspired by the Egyptian flag, We transformed its colors — red, white, and black — into emotions, movement, and visual storytelling. Each sequence — from the salute, to the Egyptian café scene, to the horse, and the football — reflects fragments of everyday life that, together, form one unified image: the real Egypt. This shoot is a tribute to cultural authenticity —a reminder that Egypt’s spirit isn’t just seen, it’s felt. Risky Boys — raising fashion under the Egyptian flag. • Starring @mubllx @teefffaa_ • Creative Direction / Art Direction /Styling @riskyboyss_ • Production House @riskystudio_ • Dop @eslamhilaal • production Manager @vhmmed • Line Producer @motwotimes_ • Editor @_marwanzewen / @abdallahsharafeldeen • Colorist @r.ached •Photographer @mvhgallery #riskyboys
