Russ and Campbell told me to channel the U Got It Bad - Usher solo, and this was my first take. I did a few more after this, but nothing ever really captures the energy of tackling a track for the first time!

Bringing a guitar from Japan 🇯🇵 to Canada 🇨🇦!
Choosing the right model was half about it sounding and looking good, and half about how easy it would be to transport it back. One shop in Tokyo was quoting ¥32000 (abt $320 ish CAD) to get a guitar shipped to Toronto and there was still the possibility of getting slapped with duties.
Saying F that, I knew it had to be a guitar with a bolt on neck so I could take it apart and stick it in my luggage with my underwear.
Thankfully, I overpacked on underwear and it returned safely back home with me n Jill!
Klaus was just as excited as me to see my new guitar complete with a schnauzer guitar strap!
Also shout out to Jill, May, and Rico for being troopers while I spent 17383938 hrs browsing guitar shops.
Hire me for gigs so I can play the Nick Jonas solo at your wedding on this bad boy!

Shopping for a MIJ guitar while in Japan 🇯🇵 🎸.
Was mostly just browsing and trying some out for fun, but ended up loving a couple models/brands that I never see in the wild back home 🇨🇦.
Became a big fan of Tokai, Bacchus, Edwards (ESP), and Fujigen. And obviously all the MIJ Ibanez, Fender and Yamaha gear are all top tier!
Wish I took more photos but I did end up bringing something back home 👀.
