2025 was a year of forced reset in a lot of ways. Being a creative who relies on their craft for a living can be draining. It happens. I’m not beating myself up about it.
When you’re a creative tho, the creativity ✨has✨ to come out somewhere. When one medium is plugged up, another might be running wild… enter:

A cozy gathering of people we love in our lil Harlem apartment.
If you know me, you know I LOVE a dinner party. Like, for real. I adore hosting. I delight in pretty things. I cherish pre-loved goodies. Cooking, designing, styling, planning, vibe curation…all of it. That’s my shit.
So planning this gathering became a creative outlet in a time I REALLY needed one. And how absolutely liberating it turned out to be. A project that I could see through beginning to end ✨BUT GET THIS ✨with no goal to advance. Just a moment to share meaningfully and enjoy it; hoping everyone felt like I did something special just for them. Das it.
And I’ll be damned if that’s not part of what we’re all doing anyway🗝️🔐
One 2025 lesson I’m holding onto? It’s amazing how one works when they have vision and simply trust the vision ✨TRUST THE VISION✨ Let it guide you. Even (especially??) when it’s not making you money or “contributing” to your thing. Maybe yall already knew that, but ya girl needed to be reminded.
Infinitely grateful to my loves who didn’t bat a single eyelash when I told them what I wanted to do. They rolled up their sleeves and got to work helping me execute this thing I could see, touch, feel, smell in my heart + soul.

CONTEXT FOR THE READERS:
I sing ✨Everywhere✨ I’ll go from playing the most intimate club in NYC one night to rocking out on an arena stage supporting some of the biggest names in the industry the next. And a lot in between. Yall probably wouldn’t know that looking at my page. It’s a self inflicted issue lol.
When I’m not singing on stages, I’m learning music. When I’m not learning, I’m recording. When I’m not recording, I’m teaching people how to sing. When I’m not teaching people how to sing, I’m teaching people how to make a sustainable living with their music. Somewhere in there, I write. Then I’m back on a plane headed to the next stage… big, small, whatever. I don’t do it for the clout. I sing bc it’s my life force.
2025 was a weird year, musically. I wrote very little. I performed in some of my biggest shows to date. The industry is in a fucked place and yet there’s a level of …some stability(??) I’m maybe starting to experience?? Like getting to a place where I know I can figure out how to be alright. I don’t know yet what I’m calling in for myself musically in 2026, but “more” is involved.

Coming into 2025 I told myself I wanted to try to document more, to care less, to take the photo !! whether or not I’d share. I’m glad I did. Looking through them all really made me… feel. A lot of shit went down this year. Many moments that filled me up with joy so pure I thought I’d just burst into sparkly star dust, a few that shattered my lil heart completely, too. But this is the thing, yeah? Life.
