Combining forces with us on Tuesday, Eric Umble is a Brooklyn-based sound artist, clarinetist, and DJ. An acclaimed classical musician with a focus on experimental music, Eric's love of repetition and extended forms made his jump to DJing a natural step. Eric is co-founder, lead producer, and resident of FACETIME along with @rebecca__goldberg (@detroitunderground ). Founded in 2019, FaceTime has been held at venues including the Parkside Lounge, H0l0, Market Hotel, Hart Bar, and Trans-Pecos in NYC; as well as after-hours, virtual, and late-night events in both Detroit and Cleveland. Eric’s sound is driving, hypnotic, uplifting, melodic, and groovy.
Can’t wait to see y’all at Mansions. Thanks for being a part of our community 🥰🙌
Join us for a free night of vibes only w/ @umblemusic@novail_ & @violet_flux at @mansions.bar Tuesday, December 20.
We’re super excited to be collaborating with our friend Eric / @facetimetechno . After a year of supporting one another and hosting sister parties at the same venue, we’re finally getting to play together 🙌
Both parties work to cultivate queer spaces and community centered around techno, so it’s a natural fit.
See ya on the dance floor 🥳

□ Style □
My style of DJing is hyperactive, unwieldy, and rhythmically dense. I like to always be on the edge of chaos and risking everything when I play, trying to connect disparate genres and sounds, while sometimes I get into the more loopy, steadier elements of techno and other club genres.
