If you think you’ll get a job if you apply for thousands of jobs, you’re wrong.
You should all know by now, but you can’t just be submitting a CV and hoping you’ll get an interview in this market. There are thousands of applicant and you NEED to find a way to stand out.
You need to be creative and get the recruiter to pay attention to you.
One way of doing that is by sending a video pitch with your resume. Not only you’re controlling your narrative, but you’re also creating a connection with them.
What I found out? Having a video increases your chances of getting noticed by 70%. And now you can do that for every application you submit.
And I tested it - I sent 10 messages and got 6 interviews scheduled (Usually I get 20% response rate).
That’s where Reslink comes in - this tool enables you to submit a video with your CV for the recruiter to look at.

♻️ Save this for later so you don't forget
If you're job hunting right now, everyone you're competing against has a CV. Most of them have similar experience. A lot of them will say the same things in interviews.
So how do you stand out? You stop telling. You start showing.
Most candidates:
❌ talk about their work but can't prove it
❌ describe what they did, not what changed because of them
❌ rely on a CV to do all the work
❌ hope their experience speaks for itself - it doesn't
The candidates getting hired aren't always the most experienced. They're the ones who make their work impossible to ignore. Who walk into interviews with real examples, real evidence, and real results.
A portfolio is how you do that - and it's not just for designers. No matter your role, if you can show your work, you will stand out.
We're hosting a free webinar next week to show you how to build a portfolio step-by-step. Comment PORTFOLIO for the link to sign up.

🚨 May is here… and if you want a job offer before August you still have time, here’s your roadmap.
✅ Save this so you don’t lose it.
1️⃣ Proactive outreach
List 10–20 target companies. Find their recruiters on LinkedIn and start conversations before roles even go live. When they do open a position, you’ll be top of mind.
2️⃣ Recruiter outreach (the gold mine)
Recruiters search LinkedIn for candidates to message directly. To show up, your profile needs the right keywords across your headline, summary, experience, and skills.
3️⃣ Optimise for search
If your LinkedIn doesn’t speak the same language as the job description, you won’t appear in recruiter searches. Fix this and you’ll start getting inbound messages with job opportunities.
🔥 Want to fast-track this? Comment JOB26 below and I’ll send you all our free resources so you can optimise your LinkedIn profile and land an offer in the next 3 months.

Work hard enough for long enough and eventually someone will notice. But here's the reality: most people are waiting to be seen by managers who are too busy managing upwards to track what their team is actually delivering.
Having a good performance record doesn't mean anyone can articulate your impact. Some managers know you're solid but couldn't tell you why.
So how do you change that?
You stop leaving it to chance.
That's why we're hosting a free webinar next week with Lola Oguntokun - People Ops Leader - walking through exactly how to build strategic visibility inside your company (the same approach she's used across 8+ years of HR leadership and helping professionals navigate their own progression).

Here’s how ⬇️
✅ Send yourself this post so you don’t lose it.
1️⃣ (10 min) Do a gap analysis:
Copy the job description from the advert and paste into a google doc. Form there highlights the bullet points you have (blue) vs don’t have (red) from the job description. Under each one of the ones you have, add examples when you showed those skills (ex: managed an event). For the ones you don’t have, add anything that could complement that skill.
2️⃣ (10 min) Research the company:
Don’t just skim the website - dig deeper. Use ChatGPT or Perplexity with a prompt like: “I’m interviewing for [Company] for a [Role]. Tell me everything I need to know for the interview. What are the top priorities and challenges for [Company] in 2025?” Look for product launches, leadership updates, recent news, and how they make money. Show you understand their world.
3️⃣(10 min) Find the likely questions:
Head to Glassdoor and look for real interview questions from that company. Then put together in a doc the 10 most common behavioral questions to start preparing for them (like: Tell me about a time you failed). Pro tip: Don’t memorize - just prepare one story you can flex across a few questions.
4️⃣ (20 min) Practice your answers:
For behavioral interview questions use STARL: Situation, Task, Action, Result - and what you Learned. To prepare, use tools like Google Interview Warmup or ChatGPT to test your answers. Prompt idea:
“Give me feedback on this answer using the STARL method. Here’s the question and here’s my answer…”
5️⃣ (10 min) Prep 3–5 smart questions to ask them:
Asking food questions is key. Aim for: 2 role-specific (show you understand the day-to-day). 2 company-specific (prove you did your research). This is your chance to show you’re not just job hunting - you’re intentional.
You got this 💪

♻️ Save this for later so you don't forget
If you've ever finished a big project at work and thought: "Wait… will anyone actually notice what I did here?" you're not alone.
So many people get overlooked for promotions because:
❌ they rely on memory instead of proof
❌ they document tasks, not outcomes
❌ they assume their manager is tracking their impact
❌ they only think about this when review season arrives
And then they wonder why nothing moves. Because getting promoted isn't just about doing good work. It's about making sure the right people can see it - clearly, consistently, and before it matters.
Here are the 3 things you should be documenting at work right now — and exactly how to do it.
