Welcome. We’re glad you’re here. Tech‑Takeback Foundation is a new, independent UK charity working to reduce digital exclusion. We help people access the technology, connectivity and support they need to take part in everyday life. This work grew out of nearly ten years of learning through Tech‑Takeback's reuse for digital inclusion services. During that time, we saw what happens when donated technology is refurbished with care and rebuilt with a real person in mind. Students keeping up with schoolwork. Jobseekers getting back into work. Families staying connected. We also learned something important. Doing tech reuse well takes specialist technical expertise. Doing digital inclusion well takes just as much expertise, but of a very different kind. It takes time, trust, patience and long‑term support for people navigating an increasingly digital world. As both sides of the work grew, it became clear that each needed its own focus. Today, Tech-Takeback Foundation exists to focus entirely on digital inclusion. We use donated and refurbished technology, alongside connectivity and skills support, to help people take part in education, employment and community life. Our roots are in reuse, sustainability and inclusion. Our purpose is clear: making sure no one is left behind in a digital world.
