Plot twist: while I was on stage talking about AI, my AI was on a phone call doing actual work. 🛩️ Last night at the AI Unlocked symposium at @ricecenteratl I demoed SkyBrief Commander — an AI voice concierge for aviation — and the real star of the show was the boring tool underneath: #n8n. The 5-min version: → Pilot calls a number → AI briefs them on weather, airspace, and traffic → n8n strings it all together with (almost) zero code → Pilot flies Most AI events talk. This one let entrepreneurs touch the thing. Loved being on the panel with people willing to share what FAILED, not just the wins. If you’re sitting on a workflow you wish ran itself — yours is probably one n8n build away. That’s the whole reason @amdrautomate exists. We build the messy middle so you can ship the thing. Here is the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/X1A4gY5zbRk?si=x4gW58tQn80UXQTo 📅 30-min call → link in bio ✉️ [email protected] 🌐 amdrautomate.ai #SkyBriefCommander #AMDRAutomate #ai #automation

SWGA, We’re just getting started. 🚀 Today’s session set the tone in the best way possible, fun, informative, and engaging! 🙌🏾 The energy, conversations, and openness to learning made this experience one to remember. Entrepreneurs and business owners showed up ready to lean in, ask questions, and explore how AI can elevate their operations. From live demos to real strategies, it’s clear the future of business is here. Huge thank you to our speakers and panelists, Jon Exume, Mark Lawson, Stephanie L. Johnson , Jud Savelle, and Andre Thompson, for making AI practical and accessible. AI UNLOCKED wasn’t just another event, it was a hands-on experience designed to spark growth, innovation, and new opportunities for small businesses right here in our community. Presented by Technologists of Color and powered by Georgia AIM & Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, this was all about equipping and empowering entrepreneurs to move forward with clarity and confidence. This is only the beginning of what’s ahead for our business community. 💡✨

@iamjon77 @techsofcolor I taught myself how to code and have always loved Java as a language. Learning Java quickly led to me strengthening skills in Spring and Microservices. Two years ago, I was fortunate to serve as a volunteer for the DevNexus conference after I attended the Atlanta Java User Group meetup. Being a volunteer was a great opportunity, but I didn’t have the chance to attend many sessions. This year, I’m hoping to be selected for this raffle so that I can enjoy the programming. To answer your question, I am excited to learn about Agentic AI for Java programmers. I’ve been trying to learn on my own using YouTube videos and building my own projects, but would love an opportunity to connect with other experts to fast track my learning. I’ve also been seeking a role in the Java ecosystem, and this conference would be a great networking opportunity for me. Thank you for considering my entry !

Last night I took a break from all things pickleball 🏓 and came up for air to connect with community at Technologists of Color’s Open Spaces: Let’s Talk About What to Expect in Tech in 2026 — and I’m really glad I did. What I loved most about this event was the format. No one was talking at people. The audience drove the discussion with real questions and real experiences. It felt like a true exchange where everyone had space to engage and contribute. And the biggest takeaway? Things are moving fast. Whether you’re new to AI or deep in the trenches implementing AI solutions every day, it can feel confusing and exciting at the same time. But the perspective I walked away with is this: We’ve been here before. Cloud adoption. New ways of working. Offshoring shifts in the early 2000s (yes… I just dated myself 😄). Every wave felt disruptive, uncertain, and overwhelming in the moment. And yet — we didn’t just survive. We adapted. We learned. We thrived. What made the difference then — and will make the difference now — is community. Strong connections. Shared knowledge. Genuinely pouring into one another. Spaces like Technologists of Color remind us that we don’t have to navigate this moment alone. Confusing? Yes. Exciting? Absolutely. Manageable together? 100%. Grateful for rooms like this and conversations like these. 😍 #TechnologistsOfColor #AI #FutureOfWork #Resilience RootedInPeace
