At Technoform, sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s embedded in how we innovate, manufacture, and create value for our partners around the world. As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental transparency, we are excited to announce the publication of our latest Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our PA 66 GF25 thermal break solutions.
These EPDs provide clear, third-party-verified insights into the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycles. Using One Click LCA, we modelled the data for our production processes, and the results were independently reviewed and verified through EPD Hub, ensuring reliability and comparability across the industry.
You can explore the published EPDs here:

An interesting read from Viridian Glass Australia and an independent guide to the benefits of thermally broken aluminium windows and doors.
"The double glazing units you choose for your windows is only half of the story, with our window fabricator partners you can select thermally broken frames to super charge your window performance in conjunction with Viridian double glazing."

Our company history journey: Part 1
📖In 1969, Technoform started out with two men and an idea. Karl-Hans Caprano and Erwin Brunnhofer, both in their mid-20s at the time, decided to found a company.
👀The vision: delivering precision in plastic. What began with demister profiles and ski surface profiles soon grew into a global success story.
From our first patent in 1975 to innovations like energy-efficient window technologies in 1998, and global expansion into North America, Asia and Australia, we’ve remained true to our core values: precision, innovation, and putting customers first.

What is actually the 🧑🎨art of extrusion?
How have we at Technoform been designing extrusion processes for over 50 years?
We asked our experts about this and discovered some interesting aspects:
@Konal_Khurana , Purchasing Manager, and @Philipp_S älzer, Research & Development, talk about the challenges of the extrusion process and how they see the future of the technology.
The key questions are:
💬What influence do material selection and our technology have on the quality of the profiles?
💬What sustainable materials are we already using?
💬How can extrusion be actively developed further?
The interview: Extrusion - shaping, designing, optimising can now be read on our blog: /en/reference/art-extrusion-shaping-designing-optimizing
PS.: Thank you experts for your inputs and great teamwork with content team @Julia_Luft and @Magdalena_Aitken
