Working as the Deputy Stage Manager
My second professional DSM role and first hemp house. Panto madness in full swing with a flying carpet, pyro, quick changes, and lots of problem solving on the go.
The usual show calling, building the book, and keeping everything running smoothly in a packed 300-seat venue.
Grateful to work with such a brilliant creative team and to help bring another glitter filled panto to life.
Technical Stage Manager – Syncopated
Liverpool Playhouse Studio x Talawa Studio, Farefeild Halls | August - October 2025
A rich, small scale co-pro that had me wearing many hats; from relighting and QLab programming to costume maintenance and access show coordination. Working solo as TSM meant full responsibility across tech, scheduling, and pastoral. A deep dive into the craft of stage management, where artistry meets organisation and every cue, costume, and conversation matterd.

Jack And The Beanstalk Pantomime
📍The Core at the Corby Cube
November - December 2024
Working as the Deputy Stage Manager
Directed by Sam Munday-Webb
Choreography by Jessie Elan
By Little Wolf Entertainment LTD
This production marked my first professional role as a DSM, showcasing a dynamic and fast-paced six-week journey from rehearsals to an exciting and fun run.
The show was a vibrant spectacle, featuring dazzling pyro sparks, UV effects, slosh chaos, glitter galore, and a giant puppet, alongside creative challenges like a collapsing set and double-cast children. It was packed with musical and technical elements, including an automated fly system for cloths and set pieces, and special effects like smoke and low fog.
I was responsible for show calling during tech/dress/previews and operated lighting while calling other deps cues in the shows run. Troubleshooting on the go, and maintaining the smooth operation of the production in a 400-seat venue. My duties included creating a detailed prompt book with scores and blocking through rehearsals, as well as completing essential stage management documentation, rehearsal and show reports, alongside supporting the company and show.
Working with an extraordinary company of creatives, this production was an unforgettable opportunity to refine my skills and bring an exciting, glitter-filled pantomime to life!
Grand Central Stage Opening Ceremony, Boomtown Festival, August 2024
Working as an Assistant Stage Manager
Realising a creative and collaborative piece of dance and music performance from the stretch tent to stage. A week packed full of fun and creativity: I worked as an ASM from rehearsals through tech and dress to the show, opening the festival on an outdoor stage of 20,000 in the crowd!
Working with pyro smokes, spotting gymnastics on a scaffold cube, with lifts and movement. My role heavily focused on supporting the facilitation of keeping to the company schedule and troubleshooting throughout the processes. As well as the usual ASM duties such as sweeping and mopping, pre-set, rigging, spiking, artist management, sm paperwork, and the welfare of the company.
What a brilliant experience! Such a fab week working with some amazing creatives. 🤍

Lighting Designer & Technical Stage Manager
Moving the show internationally to a new venue was a brilliant challenge for me to develop and adapt in a new way. Teching the show in a day provided time obstacles as well as learning a new lighting desk at the same time. I particularly enjoyed collaborating with the creatives to achieve the design outcomes and create the atmospheric world of LTSC using lighting and atmospherics.
As well as adapting the venue's lighting, I continued with both my roles responsibilities while driving the technical and creative processes forward to get the show up and running. This allowed me to feel fully confident in my stage management skills such as my time keeping, organisation and communication; as well as my developed designing attributes using a multitude of techniques.

Assistant AV Designer
My last role of 3 years of productions @lipaliverpool an amazing journey!
I particularly enjoyed the design process of the role and executing our ideas visually through projection. Using a multitude of techniques such as motion, stills, textures, surfaces, intensity, colour, and masks to name a few.
I developed my skills set in editing using softwears such as Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro. Re connecting with using QLab visually to program the AV cues for the show was a brilliant developmental experience. I was able to practice current skills such as helping with the fit up, and developed new specific skills relative to the role.
I loved playing a part in this creatively driven production amongst all other creative elements, it felt so rich but so tender. What a fab few weeks working with such a professional and special company of creatives and performers. 🩶

Lighting Designer & Technical Stage Manager
Some wonderful shots of @lessthanachair LIPA performances. It was amazing to see the beautiful costumes by @mayamyselfandi come to life, framing the movement with light, alongside the atmospheric musicality @treesofchildhood
By getting the chance to display our work in the UK and this process; allowed moving the show internationally to be far easier than initially expected. I was able to make small adjustments to initial ideas, cues, and paperwork before heading up to Swizerland.
From the get in to the get out, my role heavily focused on the technical elements of lighting and stage management; completing tasks such as rigging, programming, cast calls, scheduling, designing, and running the show to name a few.

April/May 2024
Lighting Designer & Technical Stage Manager
Through the rehearsal process leading into tech, I professionally developed all the productions stage management and lighting paperwork alongside supporting the rehearsal, funding and development processes. This prep aided me when creating and designing the lighting during our first tech, making small adjustments to the space and it's challenges/ limitations. I explored by using different equipment and a new lighting desk; challenging my processes and adapting to meet my schedule.
I particularly enjoyed re connecting with my lighting focus on this project where I used a variety of design techniques such as colour, intensity, and position; focusing on the atmosphere and plot of @lessthanachair
I lead and drove the project on a technical front and flourished across my technical roles, showing strong project management and designing attributes throughout.
A fantastic start to the project, making us all so excited for our first UK performances and Swizerland shows.
