During the conference, I was able to rub shoulders with executives and listen in on conversations regarding the latest innovations and direction for High School to Corporate pipeline for Technology Companies.
This is so important for rural communities. Our community leaders need to have a seat at the table when these topics are being discussed.
There were executives, educators, government officials there from all over NC, but there were a handful from Eastern North Carolina.

I facilitated a workshop that gave students a glimpse of what it’s like being a Solutions Architect for a Tech Company.
📱🎮 Through the ‘Design Your Dream App’ project, we honed in on:
- Collaboration
- Problem-solving Skills
- Requirements Gathering
- Software Design
