I have been tattooing for 25 years. I’m married to @jmwulfe and I have a 16 year ola child @xx_needle_xx . I love to read (mostly fantasy and you can find me on goodreads), draw, drink tea, travel, and hang out with my pets Bortie (the Boston terrier)and Captain Snuggles. (The Maine coon). I’m pretty nerdy and love Buffy, OFMD, Star Wars, doctor who (and a ton more) and most of the art I make is either a bit goth with cats and magic, bright and colorful with glitter, or fan art. NEWW ACHIEVEMENT! You met Jeff Hays @thumperthumb @soundbooththeater ! REWARD: You got to wordvomit some weird shit and make it awkward! So a bunch of friends from around the country decided to meet up for book con and spend the weekend together. We decided to meet each night at the hotel lobby for a hang out. (We even planned a Dirty Shirley party for DCC) The night before the con we were all discussing who we would like to meet/ see panels of etc and I said, honestly I’d love to meet Jeff Hays of @soundbooththeater . He does all of the narration for Dungeon Crawler Carl. He’s my favorite audiobook narrator. The way he switches characters and makes you feel like you’re listening to a whole cast is just amazing. But sadly, I was afraid my booth would be too busy and I wouldn’t be able to wait in line. (Spoiler alert: it was WAY TOO BUSY) So we all say goodnight. I had to pee pretty badly, so I stopped at the hotel lobby to go to the bathroom and when I went inside there was a man who hadn’t locked the door. But because I was in such a rush, I went right in. I Almost peed my pants from the fright of it. He leaves and I go in and there’s NO TOILET PAPER. So I’m like digging around in my pocket and find a tiny napkin. So my heart is pounding. I almost peed my pants, I accidentally joined a man in the bathroom, and then had no TP. Too much adrenaline. Then we get to the elevator line and Jeff Hays is there. ADRENALINE OVERLOAD. So I fangirl a little and then we get on the slowest elevator and we are making small talk when the door opens to the 9th floor and THE MAN FROM THE BATHROOM GETS ON and he is in a pig pen cloud of weed smell. So, what do I do? In front of Jeff Hays, I say, “oh it’s my bathroom friend!” (And then I’m like wtf self.) So then my brain tells me, “You better tell Jeff Hays the story so he doesn’t think you’re weird.” So I turn to Jeff like this isn’t an insane thing to say, and I’m like, “This dude left the bathroom unlocked in the lobby and I accidentally JOINED him” Bathroom man looks CONCERNED. And when the doors open to the 11th floor, this man just runs right out. HE SKEEDATLES. My husband was like he was way too high for your shit. 😂

I get asked what I love to tattoo the most, and honestly, I’m a huge nerd. I love Star Wars, flowers, books… but mostly I love when people are passionate about things. You wanna get a train tattoo and spend the appointment telling me about trains, sounds cool! I like learning about people’s special interests. Let’s get weird!

I did these birth flowers 15 years ago. While she clearly took great care of this tattoo, tattoos do fade over time, especially on spots that you can’t help being rough on like feet. Shoes are constantly rubbing, and time takes its toll. While you can tell she used sunblock, because there’s still lots of yellow in this tattoo… (sun fades pinks and yellows fast) the entire tattoo is looking faded. Happy to get a chance to refresh and add to my work. - Stina
