Our first time for the UK team at @hrtechnologiesuk 🇬🇧 We spent two amazing days talking to customers, partners and thought leaders about the latest in industry tech. We even got to deliver two of our own talks! One about how to keep the human touch when using AI in recruitment and the other showcasing our own AI tool, Co-pilot 🎉 Safe to say the team came back energised, with a ton of learnings and ready for the next one!

Inclusivity in hiring should be a must, rather than a nice to have. Which is why we were so excited to host Jessica Jones from Coolr on this week’s episode of Happy Recruiting! 🎉 Jessica shared some incredible tips on creating a hiring process which is not only inclusive, but efficient as well. Some of our favourites include: 📹 Instead of asking for resumes, consider giving your candidates the freedom to choose how they apply. It could be a video, a portfolio or something completely different, giving them a chance to shine in their own way 🤗 Avoid using terms like “reasonable adjustments” as who’s to say what’s “reasonable”? Simple ask your candidates how you can best accommodate them ✍️ Train your hiring managers on how to evaluate candidates objectively so everyone’s on the same page The best part? Most of these changes don’t require a huge amount of resources, but are small wins which can make a big change to your recruitment process. Interested in how to make your hiring more inclusive?
