@dj_slimzee The Godfather is touching down in Amsterdam for Skank Out XL!
DJ Slimzee is a true pioneer of UK bass music. Co-founder of Rinse FM (back when it was still a pirate station in the mid-90s), member of the iconic Pay As U Go Cartel, and one of the key figures who helped shape Grime from its raw Garage and Jungle roots into the global force it is today.
Slimzee’s name is etched in dance music history for his razor-sharp technical mixing, insane dubplate selection, and that unmistakable high-energy style that influenced an entire generation of DJs and producers. From early Rinse broadcasts with Wiley, Dizzee Rascal and the crew, through pirate radio raids and everything in between — he’s been holding it down for decades while staying ahead of the curve.
Now running his own E3 Radio Live, Slimzee continues to champion new talent and drop unreleased heat. And for Skank Out XL, he’s bringing that heavyweight selection exclusively for us — expect pure fire, classics, and fresh dubplates only!

The Heavyweight producer and DJ is landing in Amsterdam for Skank Out XL — and he’s bringing pure fire.
Fresh off a ridiculous run of momentum, Hybrid is smashing it with heavy-hitting releases like ‘Big Four Five’ (and its 140 VIP & UKG mixes that are rinsing dancefloors worldwide), plus a string of new cuts dropping on Boom 93, Jungle Cakes and his own imprint.
