Meara first started coming to our posing classes back in 2022, unsure of what division she wanted to compete in.
In December of 2022, she submitted her application to coach with us with the photos on the left, and after looking at her structure, shape, and overall potential, we knew Women’s Physique was where she belonged.
Fast forward to fall of 2023, and she hit the stage for the very first time at the OCB Presidential Cup, earning 1st place in Debut and Novice, and just barely missing the Open class win and her pro card. She followed that up with another 1st place win at the OCB Chesapeake Classic, though there weren’t enough athletes in the class for a pro card to be awarded that day.
𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝.
𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.
She took time “off” from the stage, but definitely not from training. During that time, she earned numerous awards, PRs, and records in powerlifting — and that strength work clearly came in handy.
The photos on the right show the result of that work as she heads into peak week for the OCB Conquer this Saturday.
𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞.
No one works harder than this woman right here, and I could not be more proud of the pure grit, discipline, and determination she has poured into this comeback.

My Monday morning feels....
Started off in pants... which were bugging the shit outta me so I said f#$k it and put on the shorts.
Mostly for me because just like every other woman on the planet I do not LOVE how my legs look... especially after the mindf#$k of being competition lean for many years.
The reality is MOST women have cellulite AND saggy skin somewhere on their body. It's how NORMAL human women are supposed to look. Even I have to give myself the reminder!
Since I already had the shorts on I figured why not share so that other women may feel empowered to do the same.
You can LOOK FIT and HAVE FAT!
You can BE LEAN and HAVE CELLULITE and LOOSE SKIN.
This body has done a lot for me in this life. Carried a child. Carried years of trauma. Carried me through multiple titles on the stage. Carried me through careers and business ownership. Carried me through tears and laughter and everything in between in my 53 years on this planet.
This is the summer I wear the damn shorts and I ask all women to do the same.
