Inspiring Excellence Among Airborne Troopers, CSAFP Recognizes Outstanding Special Forces Operators Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., visited the 2nd Special Forces “Sabertooth” Battalion, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), at Camp General Servillano Aquino on May 15. During the visit, General Brawner conferred awards to the outstanding personnel in recognition of their exemplary service, professionalism, and steadfast dedication to duty. AFP Chief Highlights Integrity, Readiness in Customs Police Special Operations Graduation Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. underscored the vital role of the Customs Police Rapid Intervention Group in combating smuggling, illegal trafficking, and transnational crimes during the Special Operations Training Graduation Ceremony held at the Bureau of Customs grounds in Port Area, Manila on May 11, 2026. A total of 29 trainees composed of one officer and 28 non-commissioned officers completed the rigorous training program aimed at enhancing operational capability, discipline, leadership, and readiness against evolving security threats. “Our nation is facing evolving security challenges.
