@abladeofgrassorg was founded in 2011 to support artists as conduits for social exchange and to deepen our understanding of socially engaged art. Today, ABoG debuts their new position as a values-driven, artist-led organization with a new brand identity rooted in collective care and shared power.
With an expressive typographic approach, the new visual system embraces imperfection, bending and breaking conventional rules to create new pathways towards growth.

Now on view at the @londondesignbiennale through June 29, ‘Roots of Trust’ is a powerful new installation by longtime client and friend of the studio @rachelbotsman that reimagines the first ever organizational chart, a historical artifact that transformed the way people worked.
We were proud to collaborate with Rachel in the lead-up to the project — bringing the concept to life through 3D renderings and a custom microsite that allow viewers to experience the installation from home.
At a moment when technology is reshaping how we share and structure information, ‘Roots of Trust’ invites us to reflect on the systems we’ve built — and how we might design them for the future.

General Atlantic, founded by Chuck Feeney, sought to update its brand identity whilst honouring its 40+ year legacy in growth equity. Brooklyn design studio Team was tasked with this evolution, drawing inspiration from the firm’s original wave logo (inspired by Hokusai’s ‘Great Wave’) to create a depth-themed identity.
The new design features oceanic imagery, nautical elements, and a refined logo freed from its containing shape. A custom wordmark and the Rules typeface maintain a clean, understated presence that reflects the company’s global scale whilst respecting its heritage.
