Bikingman 🇲🥉3rd - 920km Highlights: - parti avec un velo a 12.6kg ⚖️ - mangé 1 barre et un repas par CP 🥣 - 2 crevaisons 🚲 - 3 chutes 🤕 - 5h de someil 🕔 L’aventure débute à midi, sous le soleil éclatant de Marrakech. Direction l'Atlas, sans détour et à pleine vitesse ! Très vite, les cols s’enchaînent, les vallées défilent, chacune plus majestueuse que la précédente. Peu à peu, on se laisse envahir par la magie et les vibrations envoûtantes du Maroc. La première nuit est glaciale, et elle s’annonce corsée avec une longue section hors-piste exigeante. Rien de solide dans l'estomac à part une simple omelette au CP1, mais mon corps tient le coup. Le froid mordant me garde éveillé, et au petit matin, j’arrive au CP2, en deuxième position. Les sensations sont excellentes, le moral au beau fixe. Je remplis mes gourdes, engloutis un tajine en vitesse, puis je m’élance à nouveau dans cette deuxième journée qui s’annonce grandiose. Tout roule jusqu'à Agdz, où un défi colossal m'attend : une section off-road de 120 km. Les intempéries ont ravagé le terrain, les routes sont impraticables par endroits, et je dois me résoudre à pousser mon vélo sur de longs tronçons. Ce passage est tellement infernal que l'organisation redirige les coureurs derrière moi pour éviter ce calvaire. Onze heures. C’est le temps qu'il m’a fallu pour franchir ces 120 km. J’arrive enfin au CP3 vers minuit, exténué. Je grignote un morceau et m'effondre pour un court repos, mais catastrophe : j’oublie de mettre mon réveil ! Cinq heures plus tard, je me réveille en panique, saute sur mon vélo, prêt à tout donner pour rattraper mon retard sur cette ultime portion. Pour garder la tête froide et mon corps alerte, j’ai adopté une stratégie de jeûne quasi-total. Mon seul carburant ? Une omelette après sept heures de course au CP1, un tajine après 18 heures au CP2, une barre énergétique entre CP2 et CP3, et un autre tajine au CP3 après 38 heures d’efforts. Grâce à cette méthode, en buvant beaucoup, j’ai atteint un état de concentration intense, où mon corps n’avait plus besoin de nourriture, ni même de repos. Une expérience fascinante qui m'a permis de repousser mes limites comme jamais.

MID YEAR TEAM GLAIVE MEETING powered by @lecoffeerideapparel and @bbbcycling • Last Thursday we gathered together in the Ardennes madness with several riders from Team Glaive to enjoy these sceneries and (especially those hardcore steep hills, thx @louheurion and @g.force.cycling 😵‍💫) thanks to @le_coffee_ride for the start/end point with fresh beverages and a free shower at the end 💯 • A day full of smiles, announcements, and happiness shared among the team to prepare next season that’s gonna be Rock’N Roll! • We also celebrated an almost 2 years collaboration with @bbbcycling and especially their Maestro MIPs helmets. The perfect choice we used for fixed gear criteriums (with a lot of crashes) or gravel UCI events and long day on the saddles. Bikingman 🧭 Alpes 🏔️ Maritimes 🐚 - 1000km for 22'000m of climbing, probably one of the hardest race 🏁 of my life... Very hard weather conditions, a lot of rain, thunderstorms. On top of that I started with bad heart aches due to altitude, and I had to stop for a day in Italy 🇮🇹 to recover a little bit, I dropped to somewhere around 80th, and then woke up and went all in for the last 39h climbing back the field of riders. When it's hard and you suffer, you have yo believe it will be better afterwards. Because it will Never give up, guys. 🏁💥 Incredible Results at the First BXL CRIT Hill Climb Challenge! 🚴‍♂️🔥 This Sunday, Team Glaive took on the thrilling challenge of the first @bxl_crit of the year in Brussels, and what a race it was! 💪🌟 In the intense hill climb challenge, featuring 3 technical turns and a length of 350m, our riders showcased their pure power and technical prowess. Here’s how it went down: @louheurion showed his strength by making it to the entrance of the final, finishing in a commendable 9th place. 🥇 Despite facing a setback with a broken cleat, @leeksfe powered through the qualification phases with two wins and a 4th place, securing his spot in the final and ultimately finishing 4th. Finally, @arnaudteston . With flawless victories throughout the qualifiers, he entered the final with determination. In a showdown against @michael.dentoom , Arnaud burst out of the gate like a rocket, taking pole position in the first turn and unleashing full-power sprints. With incredible skill and determination, Arnaud clinched his first-ever win, triumphing over his Dutch rival from @mb2fixedgearracing and sealing an unforgettable victory for Team Glaive! 🚀🏆 Congratulations to all our riders for their outstanding performances! 🎉 Let’s keep pushing the limits and chasing victories together.
