Here’s how Thinknlocal works. It’s super simple! 🙌
• No printing of flyers
• No telling the business you’re there for the fundraiser
Supporters just:
1. Make their purchase 🍽️
2. Keep their receipt
3. Upload it to the Thinknlocal app 📲
You’ll be able to watch your fundraiser progress in real time in the app!
If someone doesn’t want to use the app, that’s fine — just designate 1–2 people to collect and upload receipts for the group. Make sure everyone knows to ask for their receipt and visit any of our 70+ local businesses in the Chino Valley to support your fundraiser. 💛
Just a heads-up — we’ve added new businesses and a few have stopped participating. The best way to see the current participating businesses is to open the app, find your fundraiser/cause, and view the business list there. ✅
Before we finalize, just a few quick reminders to share with your group:
• Septembers, Corky’s, and The Stand require special shorter fundraisers — if you’d like to schedule one, just let me know!
• Delivery/3rd-party apps (DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats, Postmates, etc.) don’t count — even for pickup
• Catering orders usually count as long as no discount is used
• Buying gift cards doesn’t count, but using gift cards to pay does count
On Sunday, March 15, we will be hosting our annual Sprocket Walk For the World event (formerly known as Sprocket Walk it For Yimbo). Sprocket invites you to walk 8k around the track with us—8k represents the distance that students in Yimbo, Kenya have to walk in order to go to school. Donations earned will go towards funding robotics programs in Yimbo and Latin America.
On Thursday, January 29, a group of Team Sprocket members went on a field trip to the Diamond Bar NewEgg campus to learn more about their company structure and played in the gamer zone. Read more about our trip on our website blogs. Thank you for inviting us! @newegg
