🏁 Silver Dollar Short Track Recap | Chico, CA Chico gave us a little bit of everything: a long week on the road, a lot of testing, a lot of wrenching, and a whole lot of learning. The early sessions showed the progress we’ve been working so hard for. Chad and the team came out strong in practice, posting a 0:17.295 and landing P5 in the first session. From there, the night brought its own challenges. We made changes chasing more speed and comfort, but not every adjustment gives you what you’re looking for, and that’s racing. Results: Practice: P5 | 0:17.295 Qualifying 1: P11 | 0:17.508 Qualifying 2: P12 | 0:17.708 Heat 2: P7 | 0:17.212 Main Event: P15 | 0:17.491 This year is about building. It’s about seat time, laps under our belt, learning the program, learning the bike, and continuing to move forward every time we unload. Ventura is in the books 🏁 We’re a little late on this one, but it’s been one hell of a two-week stretch for the Parker Racing team. After traveling out to California, testing, practicing, and racing back-to-back weekends, the team has been putting in the work and continuing to build momentum with the #49 Yamaha MT-07. Chad started the day in Practice 1 finishing P17 with a best lap of 15.231. In Qualifying 2, he showed strong speed and put the bike P6 with a best lap of 15.728. From there, Chad lined up in Heat 2 and brought it home P6 with a best lap of 15.479, transferring into the Mission AFT SuperTwins Main Event. Chad finished P13 in the main event with a best lap of 15.618, earning 5 championship points for the night. All in all, Ventura was another solid step forward for this new program. The team continues to learn, make adjustments, and gain valuable seat time every time the bike hits the track.
