New Sandwiches on the block...

We eat them here, we eat them there, we eat them just about everywhere. What could be more British than a sandwich? And good news, next week is British sandwich week. We’re joining the fun by offering a limited run of specials starting on 20th. From Coronation Chickpea with Mango Chutney and Crispy Onions to Roast Chicken with Chicken Fat Mayo and Shredded Baby Gem to Carrot Bhaji with Hung Yoghurt, and Pickled Red Onion. All are encased in the freshest of house-baked focaccia, one variety a day, and when they are gone, they are gone.

Throwback to Saturday’s Family Fun Day, celebrating all things Somerset! We were joined by lots of wonderful families who spent the day with us in the Orchard with a whole host of activities to keep everyone busy. BBQ, bar, face painting, bouncy castle, painting with @killyandco , flower pressing with @wilderandwren , arts station by @eatsleepdoodle_ and not forgetting the popular nail 💅 and tattoo bar with @nailmatic_uk . @thesomersetcollective had some wonderful stalls for the shoppers and we were kept hydrated and fuelled by @dantezlemonade and @baboo_gelato . A wonderful day in the sunshine was had by all ☀️ #somersetday

This Saturday (9th), we have our Somerset Day celebrations in the orchard with live lounge band, barbecue, flower pressing, face painting and bouncy castle for kids, Somerset Collective pop up shops and lots more. On Thursday (14th) inspiring Ross from Hanora Health will be with us for a fermented drinks workshop. Learn everything to make your own kombucha and water kefir, and go home with your own scoby and grains as well as the knowledge to keep on brewing. #familyfunday #orchard #freeevent

Somerset Day is Saturday 9th May 🙌
We’re celebrating Somerset Day this year on 9th May in the Orchard. Food and drink galore, starting with bacon butties in the morning which roll into burgers on the barbecue throughout the day. For kids, flower pressing with @wilderandwren , as well as face painting, nail painting, wash off tattoos and of course, a bouncy castle. For grown ups, a pop-up shop from brilliant, original and stylish local makers and finders @thesomersetcollective . All to the crooning tunes of live band Kings of Lounge, back by popular demand. Everyone is welcome, no need to book. We’ll be out in the orchard, please come and find us.
