In the experience of sharing the joy of painting with one and all in private and public, I realise less is always more. Less comes with much more intimacy. It gives room for vulnerability and accountability to be the teacher. You see and connect with so much because there is less cluster. It is like stepping outside during sunset and watching the vast beauty of the clouds, the sun, feeling the wind blow through you and watching the birds fly in armies to rest, all at once.
When people come together with innocent curiosity, playfulness and a lot of uncertainty, there is a wonderful opportunity to discover hidden / suppressed parts of themselves. It has this ugliness and great discomfort that comes with it, for sure, but that is beauty manifesting!
And to watch one bring it to surface and dance in it, is the greatest joy. And you’ll know because at the end, there is true contentment. Acceptance that comes with embracing one’s nature, as it is.
Never mind my ramblings! All this is just to say thank you, dear friends, for sharing space. 😅🤭
