We got to help preserve a super cool piece of history this last week at the photo lab! @darkhfyre brought us some slides from a projector they purchased at a Goodwill, and lo and behold there were some slides still inside of it. We did a premium scan on the slides to make them look nice and ready to be printed, but we had to show them here as well! Aaron writes:
“I was at goodwill almost a year ago and I found a neat little slide viewer that just so happened to have some slides inside. I wasn’t sure what they were when I bought them, but I knew they were something special.
After a little research, I found out that they were images from either the 1964 or 1965 world fair held in New York. Just this week I finally got the slides scanned and now I can properly share them.
It’s so amazing to see the past like this. Even the parts as mundane as a kitchen appliance demonstration.”
