The best job I’ve ever had closed this past Sunday. If I’ve learned anything from my time there, it’s that I’m great at TAKING pictures, but not great at making sure I’m actually IN pictures.
In all seriousness, these people are the greatest there are. This industry is better because they’re in it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a building of absolutely mentally ill, deranged, idiots, but who else could do THIS show 8 times a week?
I owe a debt gratitude to every single artist I worked with during my time there. I am a better artist, a better stage manager, and a better human (debatable), because of every single one of them. Especially thank you to @woodwardhannah for bringing me aboard.
A piece of my heart will always live (go on) with this show, and I’m not alone in that. Titanique impacts people to such a degree, on both sides of the proscenium. How special is that?
In the final weeks, we found ourselves asking if it will ever be “this good” again. The answer is No. And that’s okay. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been as special as it was.
