Apparently every year gets better. After 3 trips in Hokkaido, this winter, we decided to fully commit to 3 weeks in the Hakuba region and I couldn’t be more stoked about what we discovered in these new zones. So many slack country options to choose from and backcountry terrain that really is perfect. I’m extremely grateful for these special moments spent in the mountains with friends, my brother @tcpilon and my amazing @camille.heb . Life in Japan is simple and fulfilling. I’ve said it and I’ll say it again, it’s the best ski destination in the world.

Ran a few tugs a bunch, spent too many sleepless nights up hustling.
Pushed in the gym, hiked the west coast trail & had a bad knee for a bit💪🏻
Kept a tight circle, spent less time online, made some new friends reconnected with some old ones 🙏
Worked on my career & connected with awesome mentors.
Health is good, family is good, money is good, goals are set for 2026.

JAPAN: on a quest for the best street food & chasing pow in the Japanese alps
ITALY: Sailing around the Aolian Islands with my close family, hiking volcanoes, eating the finest pizza & drowning in fine wines
INTERIOR BC: 10 day ski road trip with big bro @lcpilon , scored my biggest lines of the year in Roger's Pass, Kicking horse Revelstoke, Big White & silverstar. Family reunion eating tacos & drinking funky margs in a heated igloo in the beautiful city of Golden.
BCIT NORTH VAN: became a teacher & taught over 40 new sailors about marine emergencies & the hazards that come with this amazing career.
PALM SPRINGS CALI: Rented a dodge charger & ripped around the desert listening to country music. Checked out infamous Salton Sea & slab city.
Hung out with my cousins & celebrated my godfather & godmother 50 years of alliance. Epic
BC COAST: kept driving boats, docking ships towing barges, learning a bunch sailing through gales & staying up all night hustling.
Being the captain, the best job in the world
VAN ISL. BC: Took my mom & sister on a surprise trip to Victoria, allowed my Mom to live her dream of visiting this beautiful city. Earlier in the summer, solo hiked for 4 days in the old growth forest up to Cape Scott Lighthouse. Made some amazing friends on the way.
Bikepacked with Jake across the Cowichan valley.
Came 5th on an epic 55 km cyclocross bike race.
SEA TO SKY BC (home base):
Hiked the Lion's, hiked Brunswick mountain the highest peak of the North Shore. Pushed my limit on an early season attempt to hike the Howe Sound Crest Trail.
Drove my motorcycle into the sunset a couple times,
Paddle boarded biked swam & skied in my "backyard"
HAWAII: Rented a motorcycle, rode around the Island exploring with my hiking gear, mask fins & tuba. Hiked & dove all day.
Drank cold beers, ate poke chatted with locals all night.
Sister came along for part of the trip. Quality sibling time.
QUEBEC: Flew back home for Christmas 1st time in 5 years.
Christmas with the family at our beautiful cottage.
Ski trip with the homies, shredded some steep backcountry lines.
Big new years party.
