MEET THE TEAM āØ
We all know building something from scratch is no walk in the park. But building it in one of the biggest, boldest, most electric cities in the world is a whole different game. Then again weāve always loved extra. Extra flavour, extra life, extra grit. The only way immigrants know how to live. All-in, heart-first, never half-measured.
As we inch towards our 1k milestone, I donāt want you guessing whoās behind it all. No team of twenty here. Just us. A duo. Me and my beau, crafting dreams one jar, one supper, one story at a time.
So hereās me again. Ex-teacher, supper club host, full-time yapper and dreamer. Raised under Pakistani skies, living in Europe for over a decade. Building bridges, connecting cultures, and bringing you flavours and stories you might have missed. Swipe for more about him too.
Thank you for being here. Every like, every share, every cheer from the sidelines means more than you know.
And before you go, you should know our website is now live.

šļøš¶ļø Some press for Third Culture Kat lately.
Not one, not two, but three consecutive issues feature our beloved condiments. Thank you @britishgq ššš¼
Weāve been listening to a lot of conversations around AI lately, and I think this is where we draw the line: our artists are irreplaceable.
AI can possibly imitate many things, but it can never recreate the feeling of holding one of our hand-illustrated jars by @abrahimartwork , or the thought, care and cultural language woven into our merch and website designed by @kushiaania .
We are proud to be a brand that celebrates our people and their art. Because Third Culture Kat has always been about the human connection, especially when it comes to food, memory and heritage.
In a world moving faster and becoming more automated by the day, preserving craftsmanship suddenly feels a little radical. And maybe thatās the whole point.

Still taking this in. WE ARE AT @selfridgesfood !!!!š£
From walking these floors in search of something special to now sitting on these very shelves. AHH!!!!
Our first day today and the love has been unreal. So many of you stopped, tasted, shared stories, and connected with the flavours, the artwork, the provenance. It meant everything.
And yes, the jars didnāt stay on the shelves for long.
Feels like something is shifting. People want more than just good food they want to know where it comes from, who it belongs to, and why it matters.
Proud. Grateful. And just getting started. šā¤ļøāš„šµš°š¶ļø #SelfridgesLondon #LondonFood #UKFoodScene Pakistanifood chillioil
Did we just hear you say
āTamarind is a surprise star of 2026ā
Back home, we already know its value. Itās not optional. You need it for snacks, for marinades, for that sharp hit that lifts a curry and brings everything together.
But in the UK, most people havenāt really tasted tamarind properly. Itās usually watered down or overly processed, so you donāt get the full picture.
Then they try it as itās meant to beāand thatās when it clicks.
Ours is not just sour. Itās deep, rich, slightly sweet & spicy. Almost like a glossy caramel, but with a tang that cuts through everything. It adds balance, not just acidity. It makes food taste more complete.
Now you lot canāt get enough of it. Its on your cheeseboards, your salads, an active participant in your bbqs and we just saw what tamarind does to a cookie thanks to @saffronandhoneybakery š¤š¼
So if you havenāt tried it yet, this is your sign. You donāt wanna keep a star waiting. āØ

I grew up in a family where everyone has a mango farm. And everyone is an encyclopaedia and mind you, itās our year-long favourite topic so donāt get us started.
So many mangoes around us in Multan, dare I say I maybe even took it for granted šš
Moving away made me appreciate that itās art in the form of food, from seed to harvest, the pains taken to send us this fruit of the heavens. It made me appreciate the labour of my loved ones and understand the pride behind it.
My grandfatherās advice to us always: buy land and cultivate it. He believed it makes people more considerate, more generous, shaping them to be better for the earth. His wisdom still lives through the farms in South Punjab and his words live with me every day.
So naturally for me, being so far away from home in a country where I couldnāt possibly grow mangoes, it only made sense to create a connection in the form of a condiment theyād be proud of. One that also highlights our wondrous region, so magical yet so often hidden.
Our Multani Mango Chutney has over 60 percent real Chaunsa mango from our family farms, with lime juice and fresh birdās eye chilli. Perfect in a salad, with BBQ chicken, maybe on a cheeseboard or simply as a dip next to your favourite snacks.
We know youāre waiting for this one.
Coming soon to all our stockists and online on our website š„š„š¶ļø

Hereās a little peek behind the scenes at the Saffron & Honey cookie headquarters. We were so excited to ship the first batch of @tckcondiments cookie boxes across the country this week: some made it as far as Edinburgh, and others even went on to hop a plane to South Africa!
Whilst the flavour combinations were easy to lock in between myself and @3rdculturekat , getting the packaging just right took a little longer. But once we made sure the boxes would definitely fit through letter boxes, @kushiaania brought our vision for the artwork to life. And it was a no brainer to feature the TCK girls from the condiments on their corresponding cookie. Designed by @abrahimartwork , the girls from Kashmir, Lahore and Multan bring a pop of colour against the monochrome TCK tissue paper.
If you missed out on the first drop, donāt worry: there will be more (and soon).
