A few months ago in Madrid, I completed the Esencia Method Certification, training with Marco, Sara, and Gero.
This was a very intentional step in my growthโnot just as a dancer, but as an instructor. Because dancing well and teaching well are two very different skills, and both require real preparation, structure, and humility.

Iโm grateful for the people who were part of that chapter at the time, and I choose to move forward with respect and integrity.

Technique wins Jack & Jill finals ๐
And this video is a reminder that technique is not aesthetic โ it is functional.
This comes from a certification with @carlosandfernanda in Los Angeles.
A deep training space where every detail is broken down with precision: timing, connection, weight, and intention. @carlosdasilvazouk guided the entire process with clarity that forces you to understand movement, not just reproduce it.
Huge thanks to @ryg_danceevents for the opportunity to take this certification, and for consistently bringing world-class artists to our community while raising the standard of training in Los Angeles.

In the Jack & Jill final, I danced with @kianadance_ as my judge โ and that moment became the application of everything learned. She responded, I executed, and that exchange created the dance.
If you look closely, you can also notice the reaction of judge @imxnanwxr throughout the round โ someone highly experienced in Bachata who immediately recognizes what is happening in real time. That level of awareness only exists when technique is clear.
That is the point:
Technique is communication.
Technique is what translates training into results.
Take classes. Train properly.
