Ok so I’m going to be a bit corny and vulnerable on main, but I think when you are with someone for 10 years it’s rather warranted cause it’s kinda a big deal (to me, anyway).
I spent a lot of time trying to work out what to write, or how to sum up the past 10 years in a caption (or whether to even post this video) but nothing felt quite right. Not in a bad way - just in a it’s so incredibly impossible to do justice to the way someone makes you feel or to showcase all you’ve accomplished together in a handful of words.
Truly, I have ended up with my best friend. We laugh, flirt, giggle, joke, yap (boy do we yap), STILL like we’ve just started dating. We share knowing looks out in public when someone says something and we know we’re going to talk about it later at home; we cherish the home-cooked meals as a form of nourishment for the belly but also the soul; we then further decide to clean the dishes together to share the load (because really neither of us want to do it), but also as a way to spend more evening time together; and we prioritise each other’s wellbeing and happiness, not over our own, but as a joint way of growing the relationship by allowing the other person to thrive.
Nicholas, it has been such an honour to grow up with you over the past 10 years and see you come into yourself as such a talented, confident, generous person. I’m so proud of how far you’ve come and, most recently, for pushing yourself to jump into uncomfortability to prioritise yourself in many ways. I am thankful for the years of support, love, care, consideration and dependability (seriously, think I would have died of starvation by now because you cook literally all our meals and I get to sit back and be treated like a queen on the daily).
Now, before I give myself the ick and go back to regular programming (of literally nothing), happy 10 year anniversary, I love you and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years hold ❤️
Grad is an anagram of drag and I think there’s something special in that 🙂↕️🎓
(Ok but I literally graduated 3 months ago but we’re catching up on life and are going to try to be more proactive on socials this year cause there’s some exciting things coming up so be patient 🤭)

Most notable things of 2024:
- adopted a new baby kitten
- got a fringe (and kept it)
- won an award for my directorial debut with ‘MUSE’
- hubby won TWO awards for his first season at a new football club
- saw loads of sport
- started my producing career with ‘FEMOID.’ (coming soon to Summer Nights 2025)
- girls trip to Bali
- explored more of what regional WA has to offer
- graduated from the BPA/last shows at WAAPA
- solidified lifelong friendships (and work colleagues)
- made lots of core memories
