Sharing meaningful music and words of personal wisdom to a room full of attentive listeners is like nothing else. I am so grateful for the experience and wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
John Prine died 6 years ago on April 7th. We are honoring him with a tribute show at the Starlight Listening Room (1915 S Banker St, Effy) from 7-9:30 pm.
Doors at 6:00pm and if weather permits we will have a song circle in the front yard. This is a ‘rent party’ for the Starlight and Poss Music Works. All tips and donations go to the non-for-profit bringing quality live music to our area and supporting local artists.

The Upright Pub & Music Parlor was so fun last night with Hunter Peebles. Here’s a nugget from the show! The Love Preachers will be playing here July 11th so mark your calendars.
I dug this super meaningful guitar out of the back room and brought it to Kendell Scott for a check up and deep clean. He took apart every piece and fixed her up real nice. He did a fantastic job in just a few hours.

The Music Box Listening Room is one of the best places to go see live music in our rural area. The hospitality is top notch. We had chili and snacks, popcorn & coffee waiting for us when we got there with the most colorful, fun, artistic atmosphere and tons of seating for a small intimate show.
