āTaylor. Tim. FYI, you are blacking out right now,ā said our officiant @hellomagicmike .
āYouāre not going to remember any of the words that are said, all you can do is remember the feeling that you have right nowā.
This time last year, we stood on the side of an Italian mountain surrounded by our family and our friends, and while we definitely donāt remember all the words, what we do remember was feeling absolutely enveloped with love during one of the most surreal and incredible weeks of our lives.
We said at the beginning when we started planning this wedding, āThe brief is to make sure that everyone, not just us, walks away feeling love.ā And so we poured our hearts into making sure that every person there knew how much they meant to us. For three days straight, we lived in a dream. Friends from every facet of our vibrant lives were suddenly all together in one place - laughing, talking to each other, forging new friendships. It was a lot of work for everyone to make it there for this moment, but in the end, it became one of those once-in-a-lifetime memories.
Most of all, Taylor and I celebrated and honored each other. We got to tell our story, while simultaneously creating it. With our friends and family as our witnesses, we got to show and express our love in a way that was so pure and real, and felt truly authentic to us. There were tears, but also laughter and smiling and deep, deep gratitude. We ate pounds of pasta. And we danced late into the night.
Itās now 1 year later, and we have grown tremendously, both in our personal lives, but also towards each other. We are each otherās best friends and we love each other more today than ever. Happy Anniversary to us, hereās to a future of forever more.
We want to also thank our incredible wedding team again for making our dream day come true. None of this could have happened without them.

The āNo plan planā.
Thatās the way I approach each new collection.
I start with a clear intention for the work, and then I step into the field and let reality shape the images. Not what I hoped would be there, what is there. Thatās true documentary style photography.
Light shifts. Weather changes. Sometimes a place reveals itself slowly, other times, not at all. Itās all about being flexible and in tune with what presents itself organically.
Over the next several months, Iāll be moving in and out of the field, building the next body of work from approx June - September. Possibly longer. Time will tell! This is the exciting part!!
Where in the world would you want to see me shoot? š¤

Does this outfit make me look like I play pickleball? š¾
Well I donāt, but I do love supporting @katyperry@gingasista@fireworkfoundation at their annual pickleball tournament!
š£ WILD STORY. At this pickleball tournament I told some of our friends that I canāt play sports with balls because I see in 2D and have little to no depth perception. Our friends were completely shocked. I realized that I never have talked about this online!
So here it goes: In my early 30ās I learned that I have spent my entire life seeing in 2D. I have something called Binocular vision dysfunction. My eyes are misaligned, so I see a flat version of the world. So when I was a kid, I tried every sport imaginableā¦softball, basketball, water poloā¦failed miserably because I could never catch the ball. Tried gymnastics and swimming and completely excelled at both. No ball! No depth perception required.
A few years ago, my far vision was getting a bit blurry, so I got a NeuroVisual Exam and my optometrist broke the news that I see in 2D. I told him, thereās no way thatās possible. I see depth properly! Then he put the glasses on me and BOOM, everything became sooo dimensional! I felt like I was on drugs. I cried! It was so jarring. I had no way of knowing I had been seeing in 2D because when you are born with it, you donāt know any different.
I was hesitant to get the glasses because every film, every photograph, everything I had ever made as an artist up until that point was made with my "flawed" eyes. I was proud of the art that I had created, would I be able to create in the same way with my new "correct" eyesight? It was a really weird feeling to grapple with.

What I see vs what I take.
Featuring the piece Amarine, shot on 35mm film. No editing, nothing staged, just a precise distillation of the present.
When I am out in the world shooting, I am always looking for the frame that feels like it could exist in any era.
There is so much happening here: people, boats, movement, shifting reflections. But when I photograph a scene, I am not trying to capture everything, I am looking for the singular moment that endures.

Milan during Design Week is a different city.
Everything feels alive. The pace, the density, the amount there is to see. You end up moving through it constantly, from one space to the next, and that movement becomes part of the experience.
With that said, there are a few things Iād do differently next year!
āØStay closer to the east side of town. I loved how peaceful and local it felt in the neighborhood I was in, but being closer to the main neighborhoods where all the action takes place makes it easier to move around. Traffic is crazy and Uber is expensive, so walking/metro is the move.
āØComfortable shoes are a non negotiable. I wore ācute flatsā and ended up having to buy sneakers when I was there. You walk more than you expect, but itās one of the best parts, just wandering and happening upon things you didnāt plan for.
āØIf you can, arrive to Italy/Europe a week before the events begin, so you have time to adjust. I went straight into the week on very little sleep and really felt it by day three. Giving yourself time to settle into the groove makes the whole experience that much better.
āØPrepare to have a lot of fun. The events, the art, the fabulous people, the energy, all if it was genuinely so much more fun than I could have imagined.
Save this if youāre thinking about going next year!

A few of my favorite moments from Milan Design Week.
Save this if you are going next year!
Alcova @alcova.milano , an exhibition set inside an abandoned military hospital, easily one of the most compelling experiences of the week.
Prada Frames @prada , where discourse was the medium, not the backdrop.
The Restoration Hardware opening party, with @hugelthug DJing, one of the wildest parties Iāve been to in some time.
Nilufar Gallery @nilufargallery , where every detail felt intentional and nothing was arbitrary.
The @kettal exhibit at @triennalemilano , a thoughtful look at @eamesfoundation legacy and timeless design. I am still drooling over the Eames Pavilion modular system.
Bar Basso, for the energy and the feeling that everyone eventually finds their way there by the end of the night.
This year was my first, but certainly not my last!
If I could wear one thing for the rest of my life, it would be @ladoublej . āØ
I am so impressed by everything that @jjmartinmilan creates!! It was such a treat to sit down with her and talk about life, entrepreneurship, Italy, all of it.
So grateful that I got to experience the magic in person at La Double J headquarters in Milan šš¼

Over the past two years, weāve had the opportunity to share the CULTERRA story across a range of publications that celebrate art, design, and intentional living.
From @travelandleisure , @luxemagazine and @modernluxury to @bluedoormagazine , @calhomesmagazine and @orangecoastmag , each feature offered a chance to bring the work into a new context, reaching audiences who value thoughtful spaces and meaningful art.
These moments are always about more than visibility. Theyāre an opportunity to share the process behind the work, the journey that shaped it, and the perspective that continues to guide everything @taylorosullivan creates.
Weāre incredibly grateful to the editors and teams who chose to include @culterra_ , and to be in the company of so many inspiring voices. š¤

I am flying to Milan tomorrow for Design Week. I am a carry on only kind of gal!
With limited suitcase space and a few too many looks I want to bring, I only have room for one more outfit.
Help me choose! Comment below and tell me which one should make the cut: option 1, 2 or 3?
